Brief update with a slight delay. Shouldn't be too far off from our original timeline, however.
For those that may not have seen me post about this elsewhere, I suffered a protracted family tragedy (CW: Pet Stuff, Cancer). As I'm sure you can understand, the time leading up to this point was difficult and riddled with periods where I was unable to work.
As a result, I'm slightly behind on the next steps for Jupiter in Eb Minor. In another, forthcoming update, I'll have a revised timeline and hopefully a Backer Preview Version.
Alrighty, seems like the smoke test went off without a hitch. So, I just clicked the big button and sent surveys out to everyone! Those should be in your inboxes.
Comments seemed to work well for initiating any conversations, if folks have questions or issues (That said, don't post any PII, we can take it to email if needed). Although there weren't a ton of questions or issues from the dozen or so of you in the smoke test.
For folks who're waiting on Electric Sheep Shuffle, Jumpgate Charade, and/or Station-bound Semitones PDFs, it seems I have to lock orders before those go out. So, I'll start locking orders in a few weeks, and you'll get those once I do that. (We're learning together!)
As for the main book, I'm still plugging away at the draft. Once I'm happy with that, it'll go out for developmental editing. Meanwhile, I'm also working with a couple of artists on some bespoke pieces that'll go in the book. This is a new thing, the other three books are mostly public domain/free license art or stuff I made myself. So, I'm also excited to tap into skills that I don't have.
I'm sitting here in the heat of summer dreaming of cooler days, so I'll keep this short and sweet. Paramour progresses! A few notable items:
We've hit some personal road bumps, creating some issues issues that needed to be reworked in the manuscript. This has delayed having a completed text by a little bit, but we intentionally baked in some padding so this currently doesn't look like it'll impact the overall timeline.
Final playtesting will commence in a few weeks to ensure there's nothing unanticipated that comes up during play that needs to be addressed.
Lur is currently working on the remaining illustrations.
The outline to Ragtime Repo is done and formal drafting will begin in the near future.
We are working with the team behind F-Infinity to ensure our mechanics for car chases are in-line with what they're doing for racing, so that it shouldn't be too jarring to hop from one to the other if you're stringing together the adventures.
Initial layout templates are done. While some massaging is expected, layout should go fairly quickly once the manuscript is ready.

I'm working on getting the Pledge Manager setup, which should hopefully be ready to go by the time of the next scheduled update. I'll also provide a download link to backers for the current digital version of Starfall. That's already in a ready-to-play format, but keep in mind that this will be the original version and plans are in place for a clean up pass and small expansion before it gets sent off to print, so there will be some changes before the final copy is sent out.

We also released the new Orbital Blues character sheet. This in-world artefact is the OB-26CS, a tax form from the Reach Department of Interstellar Revenue. Its a little more noisy and characterful than the existing sheet, and we hope you have as much fun using it as we had making it. Orbital Blues characters are normally simple enough you can write them on out a post-it note, so we had enough room to play around with when designing it.

Quick update today, I have submitted the BackerKit survey and preorder page for a review on their end. So, hopefully I'll be starting to send surveys (and PDFs of the original three books) out in the next week or so.
Also a quick thanks to Zach over at SoulMuppet who gave my survey page a quick skim before I submitted it. As a first-time Crowdfunder, it's really nice to have someone who knows what they're doing check my work for rookie mistakes.
I've seen some of the art that's coming our way for the book, and it looks *Sick*. Watch this space, just in case that ship accidentally clips its way in here.
It’s been a little bit since we crossed the finish line, thank you again for helping us get funded and meet so many stretch goals! We’re just getting this update out once again to send a belated thank you for helping us make it get here and for making F-Infiniti a reality!
For a quick development update, the team is hard at work right now getting us fully text ready as we’re dipping into layout. We originally promised a form of Racing Rules quickstart during the campaign to show off and while we couldn’t quite make that happen then, our goal is to have Racing Rules ready to show off in the next few weeks to play around with.
We’ll have more substantial updates closer to when we’re going off to print (for Paddock Pass and Angel’s Inner Circle backers, expect emails sooner) with some art previews, more to come soon!
It's been a slightly hectic few weeks on my end, so I haven't made as much progress as I'd have liked on the first draft, but I have been making some progress on other things. Namely, reached out to a few artists and editors.
Nothing exciting to report at the moment. Will send something when I've got something interesting to report.
