I've basically given up on getting either this or the nautical deck and that makes me incredibly sad for a couple of reasons: 1) I need that money if I'm not getting my products I paid for (and had to scrape together the funds to get as a present to myself for making it through a rough year) 2) I own every other deck 78 Tarot has put out and was thrilled to back these, but it looks like I'm not going to be buying any decks from them in the future. It's very sad to see people I trusted and who have always been trustworthy basically leave us stranded with very little in the way of updates and what seems like eternal stalling. I'm disappointed in 78 Tarot. I thought I could trust them and I understand that there have been a series of setbacks, but I've reached the end of my patience at this point. I'm not going to fight about it, but I'm not feeling good about either project or 78 Tarot anymore. My rewards to myself may never come and, if they do, I'm not sure I'll be able to enjoy them the way I normally would with everything that's happened. I've had a few other decks ship out, maybe a little delayed, but without issues with tariffs or other issues. None have had these kind of insane delays and none have abandoned communication for months at a time. Yes, things happened that were out of the creators' control, but they're certainly not the only creator I've backed who has had hiccups and it's never turned into a never-ending wait with very little communication. I really don't want to be mean or point fingers, but it's really starting to feel like I'm being strung along and that's very unfortunate. I used to look forward to 78 Tarot decks: the beautiful artwork, the nicely made boxes, the whole thing, and this has really soured things for me.
