So I finally received mine here in New Zealand.
Same as everyone else no protection just a cardboard sleeve, luckily no damage.
Unfortunately received none of my ordered stickers.
So overall a a small win but still a big disappointment.
Pro: I have received my hardcover from this project
Con: this was handled so poorly that I ordered the wide release version before I got my backer kit copy.
For anyone wondering, the differences between the two are 1) a different cover with some foil elements, 2) a ribbon bookmark, and 3) pink sprayed edges. The wide release version was $15 cheaper.
Between the delays, the lackluster communication, and the price difference, I doubt I’ll back another Ablaze project. I honestly think it’s insulting that the regular release happened before the backer fulfillment. That being said, it’s a super cute book, so I wouldn’t say I regret it either.
