Pro: I have received my hardcover from this project Con: this was handled so poorly that I ordered the wide release version before I got my backer kit copy. For anyone wondering, the differences between the two are 1) a different cover with some foil elements, 2) a ribbon bookmark, and 3) pink sprayed edges. The wide release version was $15 cheaper. Between the delays, the lackluster communication, and the price difference, I doubt I’ll back another Ablaze project. I honestly think it’s insulting that the regular release happened before the backer fulfillment. That being said, it’s a super cute book, so I wouldn’t say I regret it either.

You can buy the book on Amazon as of today, still no update on when the people that supported the project will get it, but hey, you can give them more money and get it from Amazon! Seriously, at this point what possible excuses can they give to not ship out our books? Can we please have an official update?

This project is currently under active review by BackerKit’s Trust & Safety team due to ongoing concerns around lack of fulfillment updates and communication. As part of this review, we have formally required the creator (ABLAZE) to provide a project-specific public update addressing fulfillment status, timelines, and tracking. As of our most recent correspondence, the creator has confirmed receipt of our notice and stated that they are actively gathering the requested details from their fulfillment partner (Simon & Schuster) in order to provide a complete update. At this time, we are awaiting that update. We have made it clear to the creator that continued lack of transparency may impact their account standing and ability to use BackerKit services.

The last update two months ago said shipping was about to start. I haven't received mine yet. Has anyone?
