We have a production update from the South Korean printer.
The “guts” for all books are printed and covers are in process! Better yet, we have photographic evidence! It’s always interesting to get a little peak at how the sausage is made, right?
We also have an estimated schedule from our point-person at the printer: “…we are probably looking at everything being finished on/about the second week of September and shipping out from Korea on/about 4th week of September. This would put the arrival at Long Beach Port around October 10...and ready to ship out from our warehouse in Southern California around October 17.”
As a small publisher, the logistical hurdles presented have been challenging, but we’re looking at the light at the end of the tunnel. Shoutout to Marie, as well, for being a proactive creative partner, always invested in assuring the project makes it to the finish line! We hope to update soon with more photos of the printing/assembly process!

We hope to soon post pictures of the printed editions from the printer. In the meantime checkout what came in the mail from the amazing Marie Sann!
Some Backers have not completed the Backerkit Survey. If you have not done so yet please take the time to do so. This helps make the fulfillment process run more smoothly.
Just a quick status update! Most progress in book production since the last update has been going back-and-forth with the printer on finer details of book dress, paper weights, bindings, et cetera before the presses are fired up. The airwaves are unfortunately quiet while the work is in progress. We’re currently waiting to hear from them on job updates and the production photos we requested.
Where fulfillment on non-book rewards is concerned, we’ve recently gotten bookplates and art boards to Marie in order for her to start on signing and sketching. Once this is complete, they’ll be mailed to us in the US where they’ll be compiled into appropriate bundles for fulfillment. We’re excited to see everything come together!
