with Pintopia 2026 coming to an end, I figured I´d sneak in a few photos of my current pin project. They are already funded and some stretch goals unlocked.
"Cracked & Kind" Enamel pins are inspired by chipped cups and the idea that repair is nothing to hide. Because perfection is overrated
The metal captures the light beautifully and the reflections work really well with the design.
A Stretchgoal called the Frankenstein Cups, Cups mended together form different colors, have already been unlocked:
If that looks good to you, check out all the pins here before the campaign ends!
First, a quick logistics note: the very last Wooden Celestial packages are shipping out on Wednesday.
If you’re among the few still waiting, you’ll receive a shipping notification as soon as your parcel goes out.
With that chapter wrapping up, I wanted to share a small update on what’s next.
Julia is taking a break from crowdfunding (and I trust she’ll be back when the time feels right). In the meantime, I’m participating in Pintopia with a new, very small enamel pin project called Cracked & Kind. This a first for me.
The pins focus on broken objects (because perfection is overrated and not everything needs to be fixed!). The metal shines through the design, suggesting cracks repaired with a precious metal. If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, you can check it out here: here.
Free shipping is available for the first 48 hours after launch, signing up for notifications makes sure you don’t miss it.
As always, thank you for you support! It genuinely means a lot.
The coins have officially arrived at our US hub. That's a big one!
A few local materials (like the printed guides and pouches) are still on their way, but they’re expected within the week. Once everything is here, we’ll start assembling the packages and shipping them out.
I’ll keep you updated as soon as shipping begins. For now, everything is on track and I don’t expect any delays.
It feels like getting these coins to you becomes more complicated every week. I’m incredibly grateful to have Greg and AlpenCrowd on my side- without those import/export veterans, this would be prohibitively complex for a small project like ours.
Here are the two key changes:
1. Assembly in the US For US backers, guides will now be printed in the US and pouches sourced locally. This may sound like a big shift (because it is), but it saves us a huge amount of cost and time compared to handling dozens of small international money transfers.
2. Slower shipping route to the US To get the coins across, we had to switch transport, but this option is significantly slower.
What this means for you:
US backers: Packages will be assembled and shipped in October, scheduled between October 6–10.
Non-US backers: Your items will ship out a bit later than planned due to the new supply chain, but we’re still on track for September 19–25. These will be sent directly from Vienna.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
