It feels like getting these coins to you becomes more complicated every week. I’m incredibly grateful to have Greg and AlpenCrowd on my side- without those import/export veterans, this would be prohibitively complex for a small project like ours.

Here are the two key changes:

1. Assembly in the US
For US backers, guides will now be printed in the US and pouches sourced locally. This may sound like a big shift (because it is), but it saves us a huge amount of cost and time compared to handling dozens of small international money transfers.

2. Slower shipping route to the US
To get the coins across, we had to switch transport, but this option is significantly slower.
