First off thanks for following Drink From The Hippocrene from such an early stage as we approach Mothership Month, it really does mean a lot to me!
I thought you'd like to get some eyeballs on the new cover art, as it is looking - as folks 20 years younger than me say - siiiiick.
The cover illustration is by Malachi Ward, who does drawings for Green Street, Netflix and Titmouse; is the cartoonist behind Black Hammer: The End, written by Jeff Lemire; is co-creator of the graphic novels Ancestor and Expansion with Matt Sheean; And has done illustration work The New Yorker, Wired, Craft Records, Secretly Canadian, SpectreVision, New Beverly Cinema, and The New York Times.
The plan is to get more internal art done by Malachi too, so the more the project funds, the more we can add internally to make it looks extra extra excellent.
Things are moving fast now as we approach launch day so expect to hear more, soon!
