I took a much-needed weekend off to rest after this Mausritter Month marathon. I’m incredibly thankful for being part of this event and the overall Mausritter community.

But, above all, I’m thankful to each one of the 168 backers who believe in this project. I can’t wait for you to have fun with Mausolympics. I’ll keep you posted about the development. Until then, again, thank you!

We've just unlocked the third stretch goal, Meet the champions.

Mice (and rats) from all over the mouse kingdoms gather in Olympia for the games, including those from Rolling Coast, Tales from Behind the Ferns, and Hell in a Hog Waller. Our cover and interior artist, Elena Morgado, will create an illustration for each of the seven rival teams' champions.

We have no champion illustration to show yet (she's too busy making more art), but check the last update if you want to see how the project's going.

We're in the last 22 hours, but we can smash the fourth stretch goal! More content brings a collection of random tables with hooks, events, NPCs, items... A toolbox for making your stay during the Mausolympics games a time full of adventure, surprises, and even intrigue.

We are in Mausritter Month’s final stretch, just 4 days left to back Mausolympics and all the other amazing projects out there. What are the latest development updates coming from Olympia?

Last week, fellow mice Mathew Morris (Rolling Coast), Andre Novoa (Junk City), and Diogo Barros (Soul Food) played half of Mausolympics’ sports live. Watch them triumph (or epic fail) here:

In case you missed it, a free demo is available. You can play 6ft Hurdles with your group: full rules, the game board, and a tracking sheet are included.

Francisco Lemos (Tales from Behind the Ferns) is working on the remaining paper minis. Here you have a look at two new athletes: a confident mouse looking at their rivals and a rat (a first timer in the Mausolympics!).

I’m working on the Flights of Fancy collaboration, the Feathertail Triathlon. This week, I’m developing and testing an alpha version, trying to make it different from the six sports in Mausolympics. It will feature a game board with three segments:

I bring great news! Tomorrow we’re playing some Mausolympics on Matthew Morris’ YouTube channel.

Matthew Morris, from the very successful Rolling Coast, will host Diogo Barros from Soul Food and me. We are going to chat about our projects and play some Mausolympics live. You already have 6ft Hurdles available for free, but you’ll also see Beetle Jousting and Archery in action for the first time!

Hello there, backers and potential backers!

We start the campaign's third week with great news: during the weekend, the second stretch goal was unlocked. This means Francisco Lemos is going to make three more runner minis and one beetle jouster, with different characters and poses. And even a rat! After our chat during the live launch party, I considered the possibility of rats joining the Mausolympics. Francisco also suggested that a mini could be a rat, so it's done! 

But this is not the only news from last week.

I've released a sport, 6ft Hurdles, as a standalone sport for the Mausritter Month Companion Jam. The demo includes the full rules, the tracking sheet, and the game board. Grab it on itch.io right now:

The player's team needs rivals—if they play together as a group. Seven other teams face them in the Mausolympic Games, each representing a kingdom, realm, or region. Most of these teams are, in fact, among Mausritter Month projects! Mice from Rolling Coast, Tales from Behind the Ferns, and Hell in a Hog Waller will join the party.

If this third stretch goal is unlocked, along with the statblocks for the team members, each team will have a dedicated page with a little context of the kingdom/region, and an illustration of the team's champion by Elena Morgado. 

Don't forget that there are more stretch goals ahead!
