Just popping in to remind you to please fill out your survey if you haven't already! I use the information in the surveys to decide how many pins and stickers I need to order, so I need everyone to fill them out ASAP so I can tell my manufacturer how many of each design we need.

There are still quite a few of you with failed payments as well, so please check your survey to make sure your credit card was processed! You can check this by going to your profile (upper right corner on the website) and clicking on "Your Pledges and Surveys" then finding the Beetle Bakery. If your payment isn't or can't be processed, I will have to cancel your pledge and you won't receive any of your items.

If you recently paid off your card or got a new one, please check that BackerKit has the right number!

For folks who only backed the support tier ($1), I have updated your surveys so if you don't add anything to your pledge, you won't be charged for shipping. If you backed this tier, you won't receive any items, including the 'freebie' stickers you may have qualified for since this tier does not come with any physical rewards. If you wanted to add anything to your pledge in the survey, you can still do that and receive the campaign bonuses, but this is only if you add additional items and pay for shipping.

Please check your email for your survey and fill it out ASAP so I know how many of each pin and sticker I'll need to order :)

If your payment failed, you'll have another opportunity to update your card or add a new one for payment in the survey. If you don't fill out your survey and/or if your payment still can't be processed, you won't receive your rewards. If you recently paid off your credit card or had to get a new one, please update it!

I still have about 13 folks with failed payments. If this is you (or if you want to double check), please go to your profile on BackerKit (if you're on the website, this will be in the upper right corner), click on "Your Pledges and Surveys", and find the Beetle Bakery page. From here you can update your card and fill out your survey. You can also update your card at the end of the survey, which you can get a direct link to from the Survey Email that would have gone out earlier today (2/27).

One last update: I know a lot of y'all have been joking about not being able to choose between which pin(s) to order, so I went ahead and added a 'mystery pin' to the add on section for anyone who really can't decide and would be happy with any of the designs :)
This will cover every pin design except the mini Cinnamon Roll Snail, so if you want one of the mini (1") pins you'll have to add that one separately.

I'll be reaching out to my manufacturer in about 2 weeks with final counts for everything so please please please make sure you've filled out your survey so I know how many of each to order!

Goooood evening everyone!

It's been a while since the last update, but I hope these announcements will make it worth the wait! First, a big THANK YOU to everyone again for such a huge campaign! With your help, we were able to smash ALL of our funding goals and even make a few new ones! I couldn't have done this without your engagement and feedback throughout the whole campaign <3

We ended the campaign with over $6,400 in funding, absolutely blowing the last goal out of the water! Because of this, I've been hard at work making a couple new designs to add to the survey- all fully unlocked and available- and I ended up with 2 new sticker designs and a brand new pin, fresh out of the oven! 

I'm super proud of these two designs, but I think you'll all love the newest addition to the Bread Bug family: The Sourdough Spider! This little guy is (loosely) inspired by the Cat-Faced Spider and a loaf of sourdough bread. Like the other pins in the campaign, he'll be 1.75" wide with dyed metal and screen printed + soft enamel details.

All three of these items will be available in the add-on section of the survey, along with a brand new add-on, the Ultimate Sticker Set- which includes all 5 sticker sheet designs, all three Gingerbread Bugs, all three Bread Bugs from the campaign, AND these two new sticker designs. All together that's 8 individual stickers plus 5 sticker sheets for just $50 (over $65 in value)!

Speaking of surveys, I'm almost done with them! Right now they're under review by the BackerKit team, and once they give the OK I'll be able to do a Smoke Test. This will send about 5-10% of the surveys out so I can make sure all the questions and add-ons are integrated properly, and if everything looks good, I'll send out the rest of them~

Please keep an eye on your inboxes in the coming days, and if you get a survey early, please fill it out ASAP so I can make sure everything is working! If you run into any issues, please reach out to me by commenting on this update or sending me a message at [email protected].

Unfortunately, there are quite a few failed payments. Please check your inboxes for an email from BackerKit saying your payment failed and fix that as soon as you can! You'll have an opportunity to update your card when you fill out the survey, but please note that if your payment is still errored by the time surveys close, your pledge will be canceled and you will not receive any items. 
You can update your card (and check status) by going to your profile on BackerKit, clicking on "Your Pledges and Surveys" and clicking on Beetle Bakery. If you recently changed credit cards or had one expire, please check on your payment!

I have a very brief update with a couple minor changes and answers to some questions I've been seeing-

First, this campaign ends in just a few hours at 1pm PST! If you haven't pledged yet and don't want to miss these delicious designs, you have less than a day left to join!

The last couple of days, we've been flipping back and forth over the last goal of $5,750 to unlock the Boston Cream Doughnut Spider, so I want to reassure everyone that if this goal isn't reached by the time the campaign ends tomorrow at 1pm PST, I will fund this pin with my own money and make sure it is available to order :)

- All pins (except for the mini cinnamon roll snail) will be available to choose from in the survey if you backed for any Pin or Pastry Box tier. This includes Bagel Bugs, Macron Beetles, Cookie Ants, and the Challah Centipede
- Macron Beetles will be available as an option if you pledged for any of the pin tiers, and all 6 colors of Macron Beetle will be available to choose from as well as a 'surprise me/ mystery' option if you can't choose a favorite!
- The same for Cookie Ants and Bagel Bugs! If you wanted just one of the ants, you'll be able to choose them as a 'pin' reward or get them as a set of 3 with their pledge tier and add on
- I have added a 'Macron Beetle' pledge tier and add-on if you only want one Macron Beetle, this way you'll only have Macron Beetles to pick from in the survey instead of scrolling through all the options. I also added a 'Choose 3 Macron Beetles' tier as well if you want more than one but not the whole set of 6
- The shipping estimate provided in the main campaign page is an estimate, and will fluctuate depending on your location as well as how many pins you ordered. if you only ordered one or two pins, you'll likely only pay $5-7 (if you're in the US). The price for international orders might change slightly as these postage rates tend to fluctuate, but I estimate between $15 to 25 USD for most countries, with Australia and France being slightly higher at $20-40 USD.

Again, ALL of these pins (except the mini snail) will be available to choose from when you get your survey, and if you want to add more to your pledge, you can do so through the Add-On section before the campaign ends or add them in the Pre-Order store at the end of the survey!

The Bead Bug Bakery sheet (green) is still a draft, but I intend on having all the 'bread' designs available as a sticker sheet! If you want just one sticker, you'll be able to purchase full- size (3 inch) sticker versions of the Bread Beetle, Inch Worm Pretzel, Croissant-opod, and each of the three of the Gingerbread Bugs.

There are only 2 days left in the campaign, and just ONE more stretch goal to reach! Lets push for this last goal in the next 48 hours and get everything unlocked!

Right now, we are at around $5,490 in funding, which means the Bagel Bugs are funded! If you've been holding out for this duo, they are now available~

This means there is just one more stretch goal to hit: The Boston Cream Doughnut Spider at $5,750! We are so close already, and I have no doubt we'll smash this last goal before the end of the campaign on Thursday :)

I want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me so far- we really couldn't have done this without your support, engagement, and ideas! I am absolutely elated to be able to bring not just my ideas to life, but take your suggestions and make them a reality too.

The campaign will end in just 48 hours, but what happens after that? As soon as the campaign ends, I'll be able to start working on the survey! This is where you'll tell me which pin and sticker designs you want, and I'll be able to see how many of each design to order. There will also be a few bonus items in the survey, like previous campaign goodies, extra stickers (from my Candy Bugs Collection), and possibly one or two bonus goals that will fund if we have the support for them! I plan on sending out surveys in about two weeks, so please keep an eye out for those at the end of February and answer them as soon as you can so I know how much to order :)

Once all the surveys are done and filled out, I'll place a big order with my pin manufacturer and order stickers, and we'll have to wait about a 5-7 weeks for those to come to me, where me and my elite team of artists (myself and a friend or two) will count, sort, and quality check everything. I'll also be taking time to design some cute packaging for this project, including backer cards for individual pins as well as for groups/ sets! Designing the packaging is one of my favorite parts of these projects, since it makes all the designs come together and makes for a more fun unboxing for all of you :)

If you missed the campaign, I will have any extras and leftovers available on my Etsy shop! Once all the pledges have been packed and are on their way to their new homes, I'll be taking stock of what's left over and adding them to my usual shop so anyone who missed the campaign or wants to order more from the Beetle Bakery will be able to do so. However, if you baked the campaign, I will also give you an exclusive discount code for my shop so you can get these items at the campaign price!

Once these pins, stickers, and sticker sheets are on Etsy, the price will go up slightly, so if you can, pledge to the campaign for a discount and help us reach our last goal <3
