Just popping in for a quick update on pin progress, sticker production, and packaging design-
Before we start, just a quick reminder that there are still a few of you who haven't filled out your surveys or who's payments have errored, so please double check your surveys to make sure they're 100% filled out and that your card was processed. Thank you! Onto the Good Stuff- The Pins:
Most them are nearing the final stages of production! Several designs have already been approved for full production, and I'm just waiting on the Macron Beetles and a couple others to get their screenprinted details ready for approval, but I do have some photos to share of the finished ones:
I also have some pics of the ones still waiting for the final details, but proceed with caution as some of these are quite naked lol
It'll still be a couple more weeks before these are done and in my hands, but I do still hope to get them done and shipped as soon as I can! I already plan on having a few friends over to help quality check and sort everything once they do arrive, and while it may be slightly later than originally planned, I will still try to get these shipped by the end of May :)
Next- Stickers and Backing Cards:
I'll be placing orders for the stickers and sticker sheets soon! These take far less time to make than the pins, so I usually like to wait a little bit before ordering them so everything arrives around the same time. I'll also be placing the order for the backing cards soon, so those should also get here around the same time as the pins and stickers. As far as the design for them goes, I originally wanted to do a pastry box inspired design, but I had the idea to do a cute cafe chalk board menu and I love the new direction :) Mock-ups of this in the next update!

Just a quick update to let you all know that the pins are in production! I should be seeing some samples in a week or two, and it should be another 3-4 weeks after that for them all to be made. Keep an eye out for more on that in the coming month!
Next- I am locking surveys! This will be your last chance to make changes to your order, but if you need me to reopen your survey for whatever reason after they have been locked, please let me know and I can do that for you :)
Next week I'll be charging your cards for the shipping costs and for any additional items you may have added to your order. Please be on the look out for an email from BackerKit which will say if your card has successfully been charged, and if you receive one saying there was an issue with your payment or that the charge failed, please fix it as soon as you can! If your payment has still failed or errored by the time I go to pack orders, I won't be able to send out your items :/ I'll post another update closer to when I'll start shipping with another reminder.

Good morning everyone! Just popping in to remind you to please fill out your survey if you haven't already! I use the information in the surveys to decide how many pins and stickers I need to order, so I need everyone to fill them out ASAP so I can tell my manufacturer how many of each design we need.
There are still quite a few of you with failed payments as well, so please check your survey to make sure your credit card was processed! You can check this by going to your profile (upper right corner on the website) and clicking on "Your Pledges and Surveys" then finding the Beetle Bakery. If your payment isn't or can't be processed, I will have to cancel your pledge and you won't receive any of your items.
If you recently paid off your card or got a new one, please check that BackerKit has the right number!
For folks who only backed the support tier ($1), I have updated your surveys so if you don't add anything to your pledge, you won't be charged for shipping. If you backed this tier, you won't receive any items, including the 'freebie' stickers you may have qualified for since this tier does not come with any physical rewards. If you wanted to add anything to your pledge in the survey, you can still do that and receive the campaign bonuses, but this is only if you add additional items and pay for shipping.

Please check your email for your survey and fill it out ASAP so I know how many of each pin and sticker I'll need to order :)
If your payment failed, you'll have another opportunity to update your card or add a new one for payment in the survey. If you don't fill out your survey and/or if your payment still can't be processed, you won't receive your rewards. If you recently paid off your credit card or had to get a new one, please update it!
Failed Payments:
I still have about 13 folks with failed payments. If this is you (or if you want to double check), please go to your profile on BackerKit (if you're on the website, this will be in the upper right corner), click on "Your Pledges and Surveys", and find the Beetle Bakery page. From here you can update your card and fill out your survey. You can also update your card at the end of the survey, which you can get a direct link to from the Survey Email that would have gone out earlier today (2/27).
One last update: I know a lot of y'all have been joking about not being able to choose between which pin(s) to order, so I went ahead and added a 'mystery pin' to the add on section for anyone who really can't decide and would be happy with any of the designs :) This will cover every pin design except the mini Cinnamon Roll Snail, so if you want one of the mini (1") pins you'll have to add that one separately.
I'll be reaching out to my manufacturer in about 2 weeks with final counts for everything so please please please make sure you've filled out your survey so I know how many of each to order!
It's been a while since the last update, but I hope these announcements will make it worth the wait! First, a big THANK YOU to everyone again for such a huge campaign! With your help, we were able to smash ALL of our funding goals and even make a few new ones! I couldn't have done this without your engagement and feedback throughout the whole campaign <3
We ended the campaign with over $6,400 in funding, absolutely blowing the last goal out of the water! Because of this, I've been hard at work making a couple new designs to add to the survey- all fully unlocked and available- and I ended up with 2 new sticker designs and a brand new pin, fresh out of the oven!
First, the new stickers~
New Stickers
I'm super proud of these two designs, but I think you'll all love the newest addition to the Bread Bug family: The Sourdough Spider! This little guy is (loosely) inspired by the Cat-Faced Spider and a loaf of sourdough bread. Like the other pins in the campaign, he'll be 1.75" wide with dyed metal and screen printed + soft enamel details.

All three of these items will be available in the add-on section of the survey, along with a brand new add-on, the Ultimate Sticker Set- which includes all 5 sticker sheet designs, all three Gingerbread Bugs, all three Bread Bugs from the campaign, AND these two new sticker designs. All together that's 8 individual stickers plus 5 sticker sheets for just $50 (over $65 in value)!
Speaking of surveys, I'm almost done with them! Right now they're under review by the BackerKit team, and once they give the OK I'll be able to do a Smoke Test. This will send about 5-10% of the surveys out so I can make sure all the questions and add-ons are integrated properly, and if everything looks good, I'll send out the rest of them~

Failed Payments
Unfortunately, there are quite a few failed payments. Please check your inboxes for an email from BackerKit saying your payment failed and fix that as soon as you can! You'll have an opportunity to update your card when you fill out the survey, but please note that if your payment is still errored by the time surveys close, your pledge will be canceled and you will not receive any items. You can update your card (and check status) by going to your profile on BackerKit, clicking on "Your Pledges and Surveys" and clicking on Beetle Bakery. If you recently changed credit cards or had one expire, please check on your payment!
