Project Update: Smoke Tests and Behind-The-Scenes News
Hi, everyone!
I'm so sorry for the wait. I did not realize that almost a month had gone by because so much stuff has been happening in my life.
I have finally heard from Meg. She's alive, but there was a good reason she was gone. I won't go into it as it's pretty personal, but she did tell me it'll take her a while to get back into drawing because it's been so long since she last drew.
My mom went for surgery towards the end of last month for what we thought was an ovarian cyst or tumor, but it turned out to be a ruptured appendix that got severely infected, which affected other organs, causing their removal. The surgery lasted 10 hours, which caused her to experience effects from the anesthesia. She has been so confused and hallucinating, which hit me hard with anxiety and depression. It was getting better, but then she started getting worse, but she's gotten better again. She's still a little confused, but now she's back home. All in all, she was in the hospital for 3 weeks.
I was told it could take 4-6 weeks for her to heal physically, but we'll have to wait and see about the mind.
Then tomorrow, I go see my surgeon for a mass in my chest to talk about the next step. I know I'll have surgery, but now I'm worried about how long the surgery will be due to how large this thing is.
So that's what I've been dealing with. Of course, when I noticed how long it's been since the last post, I started to freak out a little.
Again, I'm so sorry for the delays.
Some news on the pin sizes. All pins will remain their current size, but Artemis, Luna, and Chibi Moon pins will change. I'm going to make them the same size as the other pins since I'm afraid that the cats will be hard to see in the smaller pin size. Chibi Moon will be 2 inches. The reason is that when I made her the same size as the others, her main part looked small in comparison, and I think that's because of the rose bud on top. I could try erasing the bud myself (though it might not be done well in my opinion), but I think it would look weird without it.
I just sent out my smoke tests, so please keep an eye on your emails. I would like to ask the ones that get them to respond as soon as you can, but I understand life can cause delays ^_^
