Hello everyone, good news!

Just heard from our manufacturer that the first batch of Hip Hatchlings (cyber and imperial) have finished production and are on the way to us! Will be another 1-2 months for them to make their trip across the big waters and we have a busy month in August with conventions so we're still planning to begin finalizing costs and start shipping in September. =)

They are being remade and will need to ship separately. It is possible they will come with all of our new NEW ones (dracolich, pride, galaxy, etc). If you ordered a Constellation, your reward shipment will be put on hold until they arrive! If you would like your order split and shipped separately you can email Becca ([email protected]) and cover the shipping to do so. Please provide your backer number, name or use the email attached so we can find you easily.

I could not be MORE EXCITED to announce this for you all! We're upgrading the packaging for the Dragon Companion, starting with the Hatchlings. They will all come packaged in a nice, printed vinyl bag that has a zipper so you can store your Companions safely!

This is just the first step to upgrading our packaging and more will come next year I hope!

Hello everyone!

Firstly, survey's were supposed to lock on May 31st but we had some kinks to work out. I think I about have all of those settled so expect to see that lock notification and payment methods to be charged ASAP!

Everything is mostly going smoothly but there has been some speed bumps. The good news first: 

Look at all of our Hatchlings! At least 2 of the original 3 designs, they look amazing don't they!?

Production for the new Hatchlings will begin soon! We'll be locking down the ability to order them here shortly as our production numbers for these are limited. So if you're waiting - don't much longer!

But that brings me to our trouble child... Constellation. The manufacturer, thankfully, found a serious issue with them before shipping (but sadly after production finished). It seems the holographic leather isn't holding onto the printing. But don't worry: we've already discussed and figured out a solution!

Constellation Hip Hatchlings will be delayed! The printing on them will be screen-printed rather than UV printing. Because the bags have to be completely remade we're going to need more time before we can get orders containing Constellation on the way. When everything starts shipping you can let us know and provided you cover the shipping, we can separate your other items that are ready.

Expecting to push shipping for Constellations out to November/December. As soon as we're able we'll nail down a better time frame for you all!

Hello hello hello again all of you!

Thank you for your patience as we navigate how world events are affecting ArtofSO and the Companions. We're trying not to make any big decisions/announcements until we see numbers and how it will impact us. ArtofSO will NOT add any "tariff fees" or whatnot to backer orders, no matter what!

If there are major issues or delays from ME I will push it back as needed.

SIX new Hip Hatchlings are being made available FIRST to all of you! We worked with our manufacturer on a deal so we could lower our minimum quantities and bring more Hatchlings to the adoption page (store)...

PLEASE READ: If you previously added Dracolich or Pride to your pledge/preorder you WILL BE CHARGED for them when surveys close on May 31st! If you remove them from your preorder, you will not be able to re-add them at the bigger discount ($90), they will be at full retail ($125), choose wisely!

Expect see things being added over the next day or two!

If I didn't cover your question/concern here, I'm human remember, ask away! You can email for an urgent concern. Don't stress if you don't see a fix/answer right away, issues will be resolved before anything is locked!

Hello everyone!

I apologize that I forgot to add photos to all of the pledge questions when they launched, but if you check your surveys there should be photos for just about everyone!! Feel free to change your answers if needed. =)

Some photos are missing, it will be a bit before I can add them: Full Size - Holo Black, Full Size of the Eastern series. I will verify the digital concept is as accurate as possible and upload those soon!

Come say high, peep at the Hip Hatchling (and all other Companions) at FWA in Atlanta, GA THIS WEEKEND!

We will have preorders available for Dracolich and Pride Hip Hatchlings at FWA, the others are not currently available for order. The preorder store will remain open until the end of May - more info regarding that when we return!

Production on the original 3 Hatchlings has begun! 80% of you gave us your surveys quickly, thank you!! We estimated best we could so we could get things started. But don't worry we're NOT locking surveys yet, but please help us out by not changing answers too often. <3

We can still unlock the Dracolich and Pride Hip Hatchlings!! The manufacturer is waiting for me to give them the go ahead (and moolah lol)! But, we're expecting to either have to ship them separately or delay shipping any orders with them. We'll let you all know what our options are once we know!

Please note that "Galaxy 1.0" is the original galaxy design. The unlockable Hip Hatchling variant is a BRAND NEW artwork revamp and they will be different from each other!

Please note that Silver has taken some time to find their true self! The color differences you see in photos are accurate. But they do hope to have found themselves in the Hatchling and hopefully we'll see full size and mini appear anew one day!

REMEMBER you are not locked into your answers at this moment! You will be able to edit your survey as needed for a while yet while we try to make new things available. But we are using this time/info to confirm estimations with the manufacturer so help us out by not making changes often.

Dragon Hoard fixes! 1) Had a SKU mix up where it was showing all of your selections as full size Companions. It has been fixed! 2) There wasn't a question to choose your Hip Hatchling! That has been fixed!

Please go back through your survey and redo answers to make sure it logs everything properly. Thank you to those who made us aware!

Strap measurements clarification: I measured the lengths of the fabric with hardware extended fully to each end. This measurement does NOT include the approx. 10" width of the bag itself or any hardware (like clips).

Wanted to get this information out to you all as quickly as I could. But I am working on more things! Next is getting photos of all of the color options added to the surveys (silly me, dunno how I forgot that) and getting some deadlines confirmed to tell you. I will make an update ASAP with a photo compilation!
