Updates

Hello everyone!

Just quickly today - I am very, very, very close to finishing revisions for Book #3, Dark Fang, and it will soon go to proofing.

Turns out that my editor was thrilled with the book, and we both reckon it's a great conclusion to the series :)

While Dark Fang is being proofed, I'll send out surveys.

This is where you can update your address if needed, add-on any extras you may like the look of (optional) and when Backerkit will process payments for shipping.

The surveys are still a few days away, but when it does hit your inbox, please feel free to ask me any questions you may have!

Dark Fang is being edited as I type (possibly :D)

Whether Amanda, my awesome editor, is actually editing right this very second is hard to say, but I did send the book to her for editing yesterday :)

This good news means that I ought to be able to send backers Dark Fang / all three books during September.

(Retailers will then get the book later, sometime in November).

For now, I'm going to schedule my proofreader, and then sit back and take a little rest!

The end is within reach!

There's more to write, but I am now on track to send the book off for editing next month.

I wish I could share a few chapters here, but of course, there's just too many spoilers in this third book if you haven't read #1 and #2.

Instead, I can share that I've cut a section out of the story. I'm describing this as a positive thing, and here's why: I made the cut because certain events had to be shown from a different POV (as in, not from Kilek's POV, since he wasn't there as a witness or participant).

Now for the positive part, lol.

Rather than have only one section from all three books use a POV other than Kilek's, I've simply cut this bit - and it'll end up a (long) short story for me to send to you all as a Backerkit exclusive :)

I'll also note that snipping out these events from the main story won't interfere with the overall conclusion to the series, hence why the section is now placed outside Dark Fang.

Okay, next update should have a release window!

Hello again!

A quick update regarding progress.

I've now hit 50k on Dark Fang, which is progress, but it's not as fast as I can be, so I'm trying to speed up.

And quickly, here's an updated draft map - this is the most recent one that I sketched, and it's what I've given to the artist as reference for creation of the real map in watercolour:

As you can see, rough as it is, this draft map still lays out where stuff is :D
