We will be moving to a new house this week so shipments will begin again starting the second or third week of September. It was kind of a surprise so my apologies for not previously accounting for this in shipping ETAs, so please review the current estimates below. We'll be back to work as soon as my work computer is set up at the new place!

Acorn weevil: After the poll results and reading comments we will be moving forward with sample two (the more brown colored fabrics) and putting it into porduction. 🔧Beetle Beret - After reading your comments and suggestions, we are doing one more sample to see if we can really nail down the shape/structure while still having the embroidery we like. The manufacturer let us know it will take two weeks on this new sample, so the photos will be in the next update. Thank you for your patience on this item! When the new sample is done we will move into production (which luckily will not take long since it's a much simpler product than a plush bag!)

Hey everyone! Quick update to talk about the latest samples for the acorn weevil and beetle beret since we’d love to know your opinions:

We are now on the 5th iteration of the acorn weevil and I think this is the closest to the original concept artwork we can get color-wise. I know some of you had differing opinions on which one was the best, so including the latest version which sample would you like us to produce? (1 would have the eyes corrected if that was the most voted). I’ve attached the poll to this update but feel free to comment as well if you have more thoughts!

Next, the beetle beret:

We just had this new beret sample produced with an alternative manufacturer. While it does appear to hold its shape much better, I’d prefer if the fabric was the same for the body and pinchers + I’d want the embroidery like the original sample. I asked if we could see it worn as well to confirm it doesn’t wrinkle up like the first, but they shipped it to us beforehand they got the chance to and we haven’t received the package despite it saying delivered. :,) So there will be an extended delay as we need another sample made. 

How are we feeling about this new sample compared to the first? What are your preferences for this design? We’re going to start manufacturing ASAP just as soon as we are happy with the sample, so thank you for your patience!

As far as order fulfillment goes, admittedly we are a bit behind but trying our best to catch up this weekend. There should be a fulfillment update posted at the end of next week! Item status are the same as our previous update, so you can check our last one if you needed to know when an item will be ready to ship. We are trying to get at least 100-200 orders out every week so make sure your address is correct if your order is ready to fulfill! There's also a decent chunk of you who have never completed your survey or filled out your address, so please check your emails or shoot us a message if you're unable to find it.

🔧Beetle Beret - we have some samples in progress, thank you for your patience on this item! Good news is, once we have it nailed down exactly how we're happy with it the production time should be fairly quick (it's a lot less complicated than a plush bag haha)

We are shipping out orders using the Backerkit segments feature! This allows us to group up your orders into sets of 100 for the workday to B grade and pack. This also means we are locking addresses in sections and by week. If your order is going out that week, you will receive a 48 hour notification email on Monday or Tuesday for final address lock. Please update your address on time, as we are buying and printing shipping labels after that 48 hour period. You may update your address on your own at any time by following these steps below.

If you have not received a 48 hour notice for final address lock email, your order is not scheduled to be sent out that week. Keep in mind if you ordered a product/ addon that is still being manufactured as apart of your order; we cannot send your package until all items of your order are ready to ship at once. This is because you only paid for shipping once. Please refer to our manufacturing update posts for status on items you purchased if you are curious.
