This game was inspired by daily moments of rest: the cup of coffee you take in the morning, a small stretch, hearing that one bird from our childhood evenings, the moments that silence our minds for a minute. I want to bring this feeling to the game as a little break from today's stress and tomorrow's worries.
This fundraiser has been created to help cover the development costs of Tailside until an Early Access release. Funding early access instead of the full game helps keep the goals much lower than usual, which in turn reduces the pledge tiers for everyone, making it as affordable as possible. Accessibility and affordability are among the most important factors for the game and its community.
Covering the initial early access base launch features development costs opens up an opportunity to guarantee inclusion of further features through out the early access stage with stretch goals:

Early access will include the following features. All items marked as [NEW] are completely new additions that are not currently available in the Demo, along with comparisons to the Demo version.
8 different drink recipes Make a total of 8 different drinks (Compared to 3 in DEMO) to serve your customers.
Expanded decor: 18 decor sets featuring approximately 200 items (Compared to 3 sets with 26 items in the Demo)
New characters and stories: Interact with 10 unique NPCs, each with their own stories and requests (Compared to 2 NPCs in the Demo).
Village customers: (NEW) In addition to tiny customers, village customers will visit your cafe during their breaks for a cup of coffee.

Hi there! You might not know me, but you may have seen me around as Coffee Beans Dev. Let me properly introduce myself.
I’ve been passionate about digital art ever since I discovered online communities during my school years. Back then, I was attending art school, but my teachers were always against anything non-realistic, saying it lacked future potential. That only made me more stubborn and drove me deeper into the digital art world. Over time, it became my full-time job as a freelancer.
Freelancing taught me how to balance between what I love and what clients want, an incredibly valuable skill I've carried into game development. Listening to feedback and working with others helped me build this game from the ground up.
The most surprising part of this journey has been the incredible community that has formed around the game. The feedback, suggestions, and enthusiasm from everyone have motivated me beyond what I ever expected. It’s so much more fun to create when we’re doing it together.
As for the game itself, it was born from my dream of a peaceful life in a little cafe. There’s something deeply comforting about the idea of slow, simple living, sipping a cup of coffee in the morning, hearing a bird sing, or enjoying a quiet moment. Even if I might never achieve that in real life, I wanted to bring a piece of it to life in this game. My hope is that players will feel this same sense of calm and escape from the daily rush.
By joining this fundraiser you should understand that this is not a pre-sale campaign for mentioned rewards but rather a fundraising event to help develop the game and the rewards associated with it and all rewards will be delivered once the development is finished.
While there are always potential risks and delays involved in fundraisers, I can ensure that me and my little freelancer team, that will be helping out with development after the fundraiser, is able to provide the mentioned early access features, and I will make sure to launch it in a timely manner as well as keep up with constant updates to the community as it was done in the past year.
