Hello! Our names are Shana and Randall Schottenstein. Two Neurodivergent creators from Ohio. We have been together almost 20 years learning from each other each and every day.
Randall comes from an abusive home and never really knew safety, love and how to communicate. Both of us have CPTSD and struggle to sleep.
It is nowmy mission to use my experiences to help others by making items of comfort.
We are doing great with our weighted dragons, and last year we created our first stress-ball plush our “Unicones” to great success, but we wanted to create something more affordable for the masses that had the feel of the unicones but the characterization of our dream keep dragons, and thus the “Lock-Stress Monsters” was born! You will see a little bit of crossover from our most popular dragon characters and many new fun characters each with their own personality!
Having trauma and anxiety has also forced me to develop my sense of humor and I’m hoping to channel that into our products!

These guys don’t have to be un-locked as they are delayed production due to tariffs from our very first campaign, so we are allowing everyone who would like them to order them before we give final counts to production. This way whoever wants them can get them! We plan to only order just a few above what is pre-ordered, so if you are going to want one of these highly acclaimed creations, don’t wait and think you will just buy one later!
We want to stress these dragons may NEVER be made again! They are EXTREMELY limited and the ONLY way to guarantee you get one is to order one here now!

Creating a brand new product and producing it overseas is not always a seamless straightforward operation. There can always be issues, delays, quality issues, or other unforeseen circumstances that could delay a product. This is now our third campaign and we’ve learned a lot over the years, so one thing we can promise is that we will ALWAYS deliver, but please understand we are a two person team and are still growing and can’t guarantee an exact time your items will arrive.
We have had many international purchasers not pay attention to their emails, or their orders after we have shipped it, so please read this carefully as it could cause you to forfeit your order if you don’t follow the requirements to get your package from the US.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN VAT TAXES AND IMPORT FEES ETC.
As required by law, the importer (customer/backer) will be required to pay any relevant taxes due to custom agencies of their country. This is only relevant to non-USA backers.
We are not responsible for any custom agency seizure or holds and can not and WILL not be responsible for communicating directly to any custom agencies on behalf of any customers!! We have had people ask this and have complied for a few in the past, but we are only a two person team and can’t take extra time away for each individual order as we grow. YOU will have to be responsible, follow up and make sure whatever is owed is paid, whatever customs forms need to be filled out are filled out!
Make sure that all of your addresses are accurate and that you are not trying to use any third party importer companies to avoid your VAT taxes etc.
Again, we are NOT responsible if your package gets lost, held up in customs, or anything else after it has left our facility, so make sure that you do what you are supposed to so it arrives safely!
