⭐️Backerkit works similarly to Kickstarter and other crowdfunding platforms in that fans “Pledge” for different tiers for items that they would want to order to support an artist. This is a collaborative platform where you as the customer gets to help in the process of bringing products and ideas you’d want to see come to life! ⭐️You get to be a part of the beginning of something, and with that comes exclusive perks, behind the scenes and more! ⭐️To become a backer, select a pledge level that features the reward(s) you would like to receive when the project is successfully completed and make your contribution. All-or-nothing crowdfunding model: The creator sets a funding goal and a deadline to raise funds. If the project does not meet the goal by the deadline, backers credit cards are not charged and no money changes hands. ⭐️Crowdfunding projects can happen at various stages of the creative process. Make sure to check the estimated timeline of when rewards will be delivered. Project creators will keep you updated on the progress toward completion and delivery of your rewards. ⭐️Backing a crowdfunding campaign is not the same as purchasing an item from a store. When you back a campaign you are supporting the creation of something new. Rewards are almost always delivered, but are not guaranteed. You don’t get charged unless the minimum goal for the items is met and only THEN will they get charged at the very end of the campaign!

⭐️If you have an early bird tier and change it, you won’t be able to get it back. Same if you cancel your pledge. Early Bird Tiers are special and limited and just for the first 48 Hours of the campaign. ⭐️If another item opens up, or another tier is created, you can switch to that tier by editing your pledge. ⭐️If you want to keep your tier but get more of an item you pledged for, or get additional items that have been unlocked through the campaign you can do so by adding some of the “Add-On” items to your pledge, which won’t effect your pledge tier, and you can just pay for the additional items you’ve added on.

We are crowdfunding the costs to produce a brand new creation that is not on the market! Therefor production times and shipping times will vary from a few months to sometimes even longer if there are issues in the factory, delays etc. For this campaign we already have the base prototypes for many of the items so we don’t anticipate it taking too long after we lock orders for things to go into production and hopefully get to us so we can start shipping. Also please do keep in mind that as of now we are only a team of TWO people me and my husband and we will be shipping eveyrthing ourselves so please have patience with us.

BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.

After the campaign ends, you'll receive a survey to pay for any applicable shipping fees, calculated based on your shipping address.

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
