Project Update: Last few days! New Feature Announcement

We're counting down the final days of the Crowdfunding for The NDLR Rev1 to Rev2 upgrade kit! We'll have a limited number of upgrade kits available at our shop if you don't want to commit at this time.

We are making good progress on firmware development. Most of what we planned is implemented, and it is currently being tested. There are a few more details to work out before it's a beta, but we intend to release it soon, as a 2nd preview release for current NDLR rev2 owners. It should be in great shape by the time the upgrade kits are shipped.

And speaking of firmware, time to announce a new feature; we have added a Euclidean algorithm mode to the Motif Rythm editor! If you are not familiar with the Euclidean Rythm algorithm, it is especially good at making "world beat" type rhythms. Once the Euclidean mode is enabled in a Shift menu, encoder 4 becomes number of beats, encoder 7 is length, and encoder 8 becomes rotation (offset). Each motif can be set to use "normal" or Euclidean mode. We are really excited about this one, we think you will really enjoy it, and we can't wait to hear what you accomplish with it!

All the best,
Steve and Darryl
