We’ve made an exciting update to the campaign - due to production events- three of the pins we originally offered now come with new variants!

To make sure you get exactly what you want, and that you have a choice, we’ve updated the survey with new pledge questions so you can choose between the available variants for those specific pins.

If you’ve already completed your survey, you’ll need to revisit it to make your selections. The updated survey will walk you through the new options, and you’ll be able to confirm your choices just like before. No worries - your original choices and add-ons are still saved.

We know it’s a little extra work, but this update ensures we deliver the exact pins you’re expecting. Thank you so much for your patience and support as we fine-tune things!

 Note- Norse is added in 3 times. Norse, Norse Brown, and Norse Grey. Choosing Norse or Norse Brown will get you Norse Brown.

Update on the West Africa pin status.......

After some back and forth with the manufacturer we ultimately came to a partially covered remake so we don't have to brunt the full cost of remaking mold costs, uv printing, backstamps molds, shipping, etc.

We will take extra precaution on reviewing during the production process moving forward so your pins will be the best they can be. I wouldn't have pushed for even partial coverage without you all to help, thank you so much for being vocal and honest about your thoughts and feedback, we wouldn't have been able to do it without your input.

We will keep you updated on production and packing as things progress :)

I did forget to add in the campaign survey- but we would greatly appreciate any comments/feedback on how the campaign went, what you liked, disliked, and any area we should improve on. We're still new, and always willing to learn, making you all happy with out creations is the greatest goal we could achieve.

Apologies for the double update for the day- wanted to make sure we get the clearest photos as possible for the misprints/errored pins out to ya'll for discussion.

We'll number each pin design, and we can talk about each one through the comments.

1.) West Africa

With the still higher res photos (vs the compressed gifs) is it still acceptable as a pin? 

2.) Scotland
 I personally think it look better in gold, a little striking- but I feel with black nickle on black enamel would make all the features disappear.

3.) Europe
Thoughts on looks? Looks drastically different between direct and indirect light, we already have a corrected set made of black nickel- so you can decide which version you get. 

4.) Norse
There are 2 body enamel colors, one a darkish brown, and the other a light grey. The change is very slight, but planning on letting people choose which version they get. Which Norse do you prefer?

We’ve got some fantastic news from the Blades, Beasts, and Blooms realm......the treasures have arrived.

For the Bad News-
While the pins arrived we noticed differences for our designs. The metal for both the medieval Europe and Scotland pin are changed from black nickel metal, to gold plated.
After hundreds of emails between us discussing design, enamel color, and plating- and there have been some miscommunications. And...not everything has come out as expected on unboxing day, so we just want to be transparent.

Many of the detailed scales and lines on West Africa have been printed on, instead of being etched in with metal linework.

On the backend we've already paid to have 2 full sets of pin designs to be remade, and with the tariffs starting us we're unsure if we can afford getting a 3rd set reproduced. People have said the pin still looks good, but we need to know if the backers think so too. Would love to hear everyone's opinions on it.  We'll hold a poll in this update with a simple question as well.

Scotland, instead of being black nickel- is gold plated.

Europe, we have gold plated and black nickel versions. We paid for these to be remade since since it was before tariffs- but we will give you the option to choose which plating you'll get if you like it. 

We're doing quality checks and organizing everything for fulfillment. And hoping you all aren't too disappointed by the result of the changes from the original designs.
