Project Update: End of Campaign Update, and Payment Final Notice

In one week we'll be closing Blades Beasts and Blooms.

Hello Backerkit!

Tokii and I have filled out the last few replacement packages that we've been notified of, most of which having been received already and the rest due to be shipped out today. Thank you all for your patience during this hectic campaign, and to each of you that reached out to us.

We couldn't have done this without our support <3

This campaign has certainly been a learning curve for us. I like to think that we've learned a lot of what to do and what not to do over the time it's been active, but now it is time to begin officially ending the campaign.

For those of you who have received your order and/or your replacement order we're happy to have had your patronage!
For those of you with errored payments you'll have until the campaign is closed to revise payments.
For those of you who have reached out but not received your replacement pins, they should be on the way.
For those of you who still need replacement pins and haven't found the time to reach out, please send us a message as soon as you can.

Project Update: Shipping Updates, Unfulfilled Surveys, and Fulfillment Errors

Hello Backerkit, Jacob here!

In regards to shipping, first I would like to say that the UPS packages seem to be shipping to their destinations smoothly. Most of them have already arrived, and additionally we are expecting to receive an update later today on the few UPS packages that have been delayed.
As for the USPS packages, tracking numbers have still not been updated. However, since shipping is slower we'll make sure to keep an eye on it over the coming week.

Next, many of you are certainly aware of us having to reopen surveys due to some misprints we had for a handful of pin designs. Afterwards many of you received a number of email notifications to resubmit your survey. The reason this was important is because we cannot look at the answers you gave prior to the surveys being reopened. So for the handful of you that never resubmitted your survey, your order appeared with blank spaces in place of any specifications of what you wanted between the six different options available in the re-opened surveys. Because of this, anyone who never fulfilled their survey, despite the notifications urging them to do so, will not be receiving any items corresponding to an order that's been edited post-fulfillment.

Lastly, we would like to thank each of you that have reached out through our email notifying us of missing items in the shipments that you've received. We've begun filling additional packages to fix those mistakes which are likely to be sent out in batches over the next couple weeks. Thank you for your patience <3

Project Update: Shipping Update & UPS Struggles

Hello Backerkit, Jacob here!

We've received a few responses in our emails about the status of your orders, so I'll try my best to catch everyone up to speed as well as to maintain frequent updates regarding where we are in shipping.

Today we reached out to our local postman, our shipping label providers, the UPS drop off location we used, and a bunch of different UPS departments trying to get things sorted out. Here's what we've found:

Because the fulfilment period lasted so long many of the shipping labels we used had been reused by other sources before we had gotten the chance to ship them out. This is likely why many of you have notifications saying that your order has already arrived sometimes even before we had shipped out your packages on September the 6th.
Additionally many of the packages had gone unused for so long that they had automatically been refunded which we were unaware of before shipping them out. USPS is more lenient and allows us to pay for these refunded labels as they ship out with little hassle. UPS on the other hand is a little different. We are still trying to find the current status of specifically 15 of those UPS packages, we are unsure if they'll be sent back to us, if we'll have the opportunity to repay for the shipping, or any other possible solution. UPS has been rather uncooperative with revealing that information.

If looking up your tracking number results information claiming your package has already been delivered, this is an error. We suggest to wait a little while longer for the package to progress through the system for it to be scanned and updated before the tracking information can follow suit.

If your package is one of the one's refunded from UPS I will continue to update you as we find out more. Rest assured we will do our due diligence to ensure you received what you ordered.

TLDR; If your package with with USPS (as the majority should) your package is fine, even if it says 'delivered', the next few days will update. If one of the 15 with UPS issues, we will keep you updated.

Project Update: On Behalf of The Team (+Shipping Updates!)

Hello Backerkit,

Tokii and I would like to set aside a moment to sincerely thank you all for your enormous support of our work. Blades Beasts and Blooms has only been our second crowdfunding campaign and its outcome was explosively higher than we could have ever predicted. What’s more is that the support that you’ve shown for this project has lasted past this campaign and has continued into each project that has followed since. We have been moved by the love you all have shown for our work and have made some big life choices to accommodate for this demand.

We have learned a lot from Blades Beasts and Blooms; at times I feel like we’ve jumped into the deep end of the pool when we really ought to still be wearing puddle jumpers. Nevertheless, through our learning, sickness, and delay after delay you have only continued to show your support with an endless supply of uplifting words and understanding messages - It means the world to us, and has allowed what was once a small endeavor to start a business to truly become life-changing as we continue down this path.

Thank you, for everything.

Packing for Blades Beasts and Blooms is slowly coming to a close and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. For most of you this means that your orders that you’ve been patiently awaiting have nearly found their way home, we've officially shipped out nearly all of the packages. Though, for specifically two of you we’ve stumbled upon another small delay where we appear to be lacking the shirts that you’ve ordered - this will be resolved as quickly as we are able to and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Alas, for those of you who receive your package, we urge you to ensure you received everything you ordered. With how truly chaotic this fulfillment period has been we are worried sick that some packages may be missing items. If any of you find that your order has been unfulfilled please don’t hesitate to reach out to us! Tokii and I would be absolutely devastated if any one of you has unfairly received less than what you have ordered. Your support means the world to us, so we want the chance to resolve any possible mistakes we could have made during our journey.
