So I am very excited about running this game! I love TTRPGs of every kind. My friends aren’t as into roll play, but they are into punk culture. I thought this would be the perfect way for us to share our interests. So I am going to run this for them. But I don’t really know anything about punk culture (I know I’ll do better). What are some songs I should listen to, books I should read, or movies I should watch so I don’t embarrass myself in front of my friends?
Project Update: The Book...
Project Update: Mixed news.
So, we have had word from the printers!
It's not the best news, but it's still news worth reporting.
They will send us the games out in the first week of January. They will likely be ready before then, but they are not willing to ship anything so close to Christmas.
The negative of that is it pushes the fulfilment from us to January. The positive is that we will can now work out the exact timetable for the fulfilment which we expect to take us 3 to 4 weeks from receipt of the books.
For full transparency, there have been four main reasons for the delay in production:
- I spent way longer tweaking rules and designs than I anticipated.
- There was a LOT of to-ing and fro-ing with the printer to get things correct. Especially with regards to the Pantone inks and technical issues. It was a baptism of fire for me, but I've learned so much in the process and I feel like the final books will look truly fabulous.
- We had more backers than we originally anticpated which means we had more production to arrange. This likely only added a few weeks to the production, rather than months, but nevertheless it all adds up.
- The printers don't want to ship until Jan 2025. That said, even if we had recieved the books in December, we would have likely held them until January as shipping from the UK during Christmas is a nightmare.
In any case, before we receive the books I will have more things to show you from the rewards.
We anticpated this book going out in June. We are now looking at a seven month overshoot of that and I apologise for the delays. I have learned a few things during this process that I am carrying through to future projects and that should help us create better campaigns going forward.
That said, we are almost there, so thank you for your patience and support and I really can't wait until you have the books in your hands.

Project Update: Quick update - the journals & the Dead Punk's Society!
So, we have some pics of the journal covers hot of the printing press. These use the same pantones as the core rulebook so they give you some indication of how much this book and the BM screens are going to be in your face.
Wow!
As soon as I have images of the rulebook, I will post them. I'm hoping to get a firm date on the print being finished in the next few days, though I hope you'll appreciate that Christmas can make everything messy. In any case, I will keep you updated.
I'm also working on the first issue of Dead Punks Society, a monthly PiD PDF zine which contains all kinds of bollocks for the game. This month's issue has 10 venues to play in, an interview with the Shit Biscuits and a free-ads section with some more gear for the game.
Next month will have an original scenario for PiD.
Here's the cover of issue one which drops next week:
You can subscribe for £3.50 a month over on my Patreon page.
And, yeah, I get it if you want to wait until you have the physical book before subscribing. That's fair.
Right, I'm out of here, I'll be back soon with more updates on the production. Also, watch your inbox for that updated rulebook I promised last week. I am actually going to upload it this week.
Hasta la proxima!

Project Update: Production Update
Just a quick update to keep you in the loop.
After a bit of to-ing and fro-ing over Pantone printing issues, we are finally underway with the books. We are printing 3000 copies, so at this point I can't get an exact date for when we will receive them, but that will be nailed down in the next couple of weeks.
We also have the BM screens in printing and the boxes for the World Tour pledges (these will be printed much quicker).
As soon as I have photos of any of these, I will get them posted for you.
Finally, I will be uploading the latest version of the PDF tomorrow which includes a few errata fixes that we made before we sent everything to print (phew). You will get an automatic notification if you have already downloaded the files.
If you have any questions or comments, please do drop them below.
