Project Update: The Punk is Dead EP is here!

Hey there,

The official Punk is Dead EP is here (in case you didn't read the subject line).

I'll release five tracks over as many days as possible, starting now. One of our stretch goals was to get the Stereoflowers from pen and paper, initial rehearsals, right through to the studio-produced tracks you will be filling your ears with over the next few days. And boy, did they deliver!

But first, I want to thank you for your patience. I am working hard to finish the layouts for the final book so we can send out the PDFs. I've included a few monsters at the end of this email so you can get a flavour of what your band members will face as they tour the Un-united Kingdom. Trust me, I'm throwing everything I have into this book. The current prophecy is that my bit will be done by the end of this month, and then we need a few days to let our amazing proofreader do her thing. As always, I'll keep you updated.

Now music!

The first track is Eternal Worlds. I adore this track as an opener. It captures the spirit of the game, both musically and lyrically. Grab the mp3 here.

I was lucky to hear the track played live at the Origins Game Fair in Columbus. Speaking of which, here are the guys in action on that very night:

I'll release a track each day this week, along with a few layouts and other news about the project rewards.

The Punk is Dead rulebook!

As promised, and to prove that I've not just moved to a Caribbean island with the proceeds from this campaign, here are some monsters you will face in the book:

Hörse Borg - Fuck yeah!

Spicy Lick, anyone?

Stag do.

In other news...

If you like dice, it's the last week to get in our fourth annual advent calendars. We have Halloween and Christmas flavours to go at. Each calendar has one limited edition sharp edge set, two resin sets, three gifts and a DnD one-shot, all themed around the calendar. Check out the Kickstarter here.

We also do dice!

Once Punk is Dead is fulfilled, I'll launch my next project on BackerKit, Wires in The Woods. This is a solo/duet game that is a complete departure from Punk is Dead. The Elevator Pitch is a game about upcycling in an abandoned world. The Two Steps up to The Porch Pitch is Twin Peaks meets The Wombles.

I'm creating this game as a collaboration with unbelievably talented artist, Simon J. Curd. Here is a sneak preview of some of the characters he has created for you to play in this game:
Yes, there will be minis!

Which one would you be?

Okay, that's all for this update. It went way beyond the expected 3-minute punk offering. Congrats if you made it this far. There were extra treats along the way.

I'll be back with another update tomorrow and another track from the EP.

Take care, and thank you for your support!

Tim <3
