Now that the dust has settled and pledges are locked in, BackerKit begins collecting funds. This usually takes about three weeks after the campaign ends, and once that process is complete, we’ll be ready to start sharing some of your first digital rewards - like animated backgrounds, our past titles, etc. (depending on what pledge level and add-ons you chose)! ✨
✨ When does playtesting start?
We know this is the part many of you are most excited for! Right now, we’re deep in shaping the world, writing prompts, and refining mechanics. Once we have a beta version ready, you’ll be the first to explore it.
You’ll get to test the systems, share your thoughts, and directly influence how Drakonym grows. Your feedback will shape the heart of the game - your voice genuinely matters here. We’ll send out a dedicated update as soon as playtesting opens, so you won’t miss your chance to jump in.

We’re giving every backer a free mini-game that Ash has written! Battle at Ironmarch is a fast 2-player tactical duel on an 8×8 board, recreating the training battles of Akeroth’s past. Quick to learn, but full of clever moves and counter-moves.

We’ll be running some exclusive pre-beta Drakonym playtests this weekend at Tabletop Scotland! 🎲🐉 📅 Saturday & Sunday 🕘 9 am - 4 pm
Come book a slot and try out the core rules in a fast-paced, cinematic intro adventure. You’ll be using premade characters and making your very first bonds with dragons.
Each session lasts 1-1.5 hours and is designed for 3-5 players.
The ward-bells of Greymere toll across the cliffs of the Shattered Pass. Crystal veins are splitting the rock, and wolves glittering with shards stalk the heights. As defenders of the pass, you’ll battle shard-sick beasts, uncover the corruption in the stone, and witness a wyrmling’s first struggle to be born.
