I've started packing pledges again this week (slowly - LBM has left me completely dead for days lol), and am also now grading and carding the cat eye remakes which have arrived in the meantime! So from now on things will go smoothly again.
My plan is to get the majority of ready-to-ship pledges out on Monday. I will send the tracking numbers out all in one batch once everything is out just because it's more efficient this way and I want to get the actual work done sooner than later.
So if you don't hear anything it's mostly because of that, I'll write another update once everything is done!
Hey all! Just a quick check-in from package hell. I'm finally back to full health(ish) so the last few days it's finally been picking up with fulfillment. @_@ The first half of March was a bit rough/slow but it's going well now.
Currently over 100 parcels are packed, most of which are US orders that will all be picked up by the 3rd party shipment provider tomorrow, and the non-US ones that are currently packed will be dropped off as well.

I will try to pack another big batch until Tuesday, hoping to get another 50-70ish done if I can! After that, there will be a short break since I'll be at Leipzig Book Fair until the 23rd.
While I'm there, the cat eye remakes should arrive, so once I'm back I'm fairly certain I can handle the remaining ones within the last week of March with no problems. So if nothing unforeseen happens, we'll be ending right on schedule by the end of March. I'll be sending the tracking info out soon as well.
Also a reminder: please do check your surveys and payments! Currently there's still a handful who haven't picked their pins and also quite a lot whose payments have failed. Keep in mind that you won't get anything if you don't do both, and any partial payments will be considered donations. If you have trouble with the payments, you can also reach out to me and I can set up a different payment method (eg Paypal or a more traditional shop checkout via my webshop - I know that crowdfunding is notoriously difficult to explain to banks/CCs!)
Hey all! Here's your reminder that I will charge cards on March 1st (Sunday). At the same time I will lock your addresses. Please do double-check if everything is correct before March 1st. If your payment does not go through, you will still have time to fix payment for a couple months after fulfillment is officially done, but after that the project will close and any partial payments will be considered donations. If you experience trouble with payments, I can help you out with setting up an alternative payment method outside of the platform too.
The folks who have been holding their Holiday Market shipments to combine with the Pintober orders will get shipped out first unless waiting for cat eye remakes.
Also if you use an APO/FPO address, consider giving me a local address to ship to, as they have been causing issues with the shipping providers here (also if you're stationed outside of the US, the shipping to your local address is likely cheaper anyways).
On another note: the cat eye remake with the correct glow is almost finished according to my manu, just the plating left and then they'll be on their way.

Hey hey everyone! Another quick report from pin packing hell :D I have some good news: the wait for the remake of the orange eyes will not be that long after all. I convinced my manu to redo them immediately rather than together with my next batch, and they are already in production. According to my manu they can arrive at my place in March. This means you can disregard the previous update. Everyone can get the correct version by default. Since that's what you originally pledged for I'm sure that's the best outcome for everyone. If you still prefer the green or want a heterochromia edition or whatever I'm happy to help you out since I will have both versions at hand anyways now! :D Just email me, preferably by March 1st.
