Helpful reminders for pay-over-time backers.
For those who chose to pay-over-time, final payments will be processed during the beginning of July. After your last payment is completed, your backer survey will be sent, and payment for shipping and taxes—where applicable—will be collected. Surveys will need to be completed promptly in order for our Dougs and chulls to deliver your rewards.

Please complete the survey promptly to help us avoid any potential shipping delays. Backers who used the pay-over-time option will be able to access their survey after all four payments have been processed. If this includes you, don’t worry! Even though you won’t be able to fill out your survey for a few months, we are making arrangements to accommodate your cover choices.
If you backed the campaign and your payment method did not go through, you are not simply lost to Adonalsium’s judgment. Please reach out to us through our support portal and we can take a look at the specific problem and help get your pledge ready for fulfillment.
As a reminder, cards have already been charged and the refund deadline for this campaign was March 27, 2026. If you downgrade a pledge or remove add-ons a refund will not automatically be issued. You will instead have a credit applied to your pledge which can be used for other rewards within this campaign. If you have any questions, concerns, or unique circumstances please submit a ticket through our support portal.

Worldsingers, we’ve done it! The campaign is now officially closed. Your spheres have been put to good use, and we’re working hard on our end to get all of Hoid’s stories and artifacts to your lovely homes before the next highstorm. Be sure to fill out your backer surveys promptly, so that our chulls can expeditiously deliver your pledges once fulfillment begins. Backer surveys will begin being sent out early next week, so keep an eye on your email! Please remember that your survey must be completed and your pledge amount paid before your rewards can ship. If you have already backed this project, you will gain access to the same selections of add-ons as the pre-order store through your backer survey.
Backers who used the pay over time option will be able to access their survey after all four payments have been processed. All the same add-ons within our pre-order store will be available for pay over time backers within their surveys, even after the April 13th deadline.

As a reminder, you will be able to select which cover variant you want for The Fires of December through your backer survey. If you have purchased multiple copies you will be asked to select which cover you want for each copy you purchased.

Hoid’s Worldsinger Symposium: Anthology will be digitally released.
Thank you to all the talented Worldsingers who participated in Hoid’s Worldsinger Symposium! We were awestruck by the level of creativity and wit we saw from each of the entries, both written and weaved. The finished non-canonical Hoidian tale and the submissions from the Worldsinger Gallery that will be included in Hoid’s Worldsinger Symposium: Anthology will be distributed through BackerKit later this year. As promised, we have published the poll for the cover of The Fires of December. We appreciate your patience. It was important to us that we present the most complete depiction of each cover before the poll was posted. Only backers of the campaign can vote, so don’t miss your chance to come and make your voice heard. Before you vote, please watch this video for an in-depth overview for both potential covers. We cannot wait to get this fantastic story—complete with the full premium hardcover treatment—to you later this year!
Backer surveys are approaching
Our campaign closes in 7 days! We will send out backer surveys via email in early April. Please keep a lookout for your survey, as you will want to complete these as quickly as possible to help ensure there are no delays once fulfillment begins. The survey will include your shipping, taxes, and VAT when applicable. If you have backed using a pay-over-time payment option, you will not receive your backer survey until you have paid your pledge in full. Please remember that your survey must be completed and your pledge paid before rewards can ship.
Middle East shipping update
We recently received word that due to military conflict in the Middle East, our shipping partners are not currently able to send packages to Israel, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. We are hopeful that shipping will resume by the time fulfillment begins later this year. We will not prohibit pledges from the impacted countries, as we don't want fans from those areas to miss out on campaign-exclusive items. We will be in direct contact with those in affected areas as we get closer to fulfillment if shipping has not resumed.

A writing prompt has been given on the Hoid’s Worldsinger Symposium tab of this project, and every day until the close of this campaign (March 27, 2026) you will have a chance to add to the Collaborative Narrative. The entry with the most likes daily will be added to this storybook of your own creation!
Send your fan art inspired by the story you’re writing in the Collaborative Narrative to the link found in the Symposium andwe will feature it in our Worldsinger Gallery! Please ensure that the content of your submissions for both the Collaborative Narrative and the Worldsinger Gallery meet our terms and conditions. Artists are allowed up to two art submissions throughout the duration of the campaign. Your last day to submit to the gallery will be March 27, 2026. Remember that select art submissions will be included in the digital release of Hoid’s Worldsinger Symposium: Anthology!
