Project Update: Planet Dragons Arrived at Home Base!

Hey folks,

It’s been a moment since our last update. Last we left off, pin production was in full swing. Well, the dragons have officially landed, and we’re buried in a sea of 2,600 pins! Let’s dive in!

The Good: Most of the pins look absolutely fantastic! We’re excited to get these terrestrial creatures to you!

Here’s the real quick lowdown:

Here are the glow effects! Sorry for the garage floor, it was the best place to see them in the dark.

Since they are rainbow metals, the Plutos' effects will differ slightly.

The unexpected “Hmm” hiccups:

Twilight Mercury - Came out darker due to the black nickel behind the transparent enamel. But it does make the twin dragons pop.
Mars: Both variants Have some UV Printed neck lines to match the metalwork.

Timeless Saturn - Came out Darker due to the black nickel behind the transparent enamel. The dragon is harder to see because of this. We’re looking to correct this.
Verdant Earth - The browns are closer in color than expected.
Sylvan Earth - Dark greens appear to have a foggy effect and we’d like a little feedback. Please vote in the poll below if you ordered this pin! The foggy effect is due to the glow in the dark powder. Some have it more than others. Is this okay, or would you like us to remake the pins? If we remake them, it will take some time to ship them.

So, what’s next?

Grading: We’re grading all 2,600 pins! O.O
Pledge Manager Re-Opens: In November, we’ll open the pledge manager for 48 hours so you can change your pin choices. Heads up: A-Grade pin quantities are limited. Defect rates are varying. Should we run out, you will receive Seconds grade pins instead.
Shipping: We’re aiming to begin shipping in November - early December after closing the pledge manager.
