It‘s been a few days and we unlocked two more stretchgoals! That means all Pin designs are now unlocked!! Thursday I‘ll show those off for you, but in order to do that, you need to help me with one more decision: What animal should Aquila be?
In the past I turned Aquila into a raven, but since we now have Corvus the Magpie, I thought that was a bit too similar. Aquila as a constellation is so clearly a bird, and has been interpreted as an eagle (Babylon/Greece), a vulture (Rome) or a falcon (Egypt) before, so I can only imagine how many more birds people throughout history have pictured there that were never recorded.
On instagram I asked my followers what they‘d like to see and we had a pretty even split between falcon, owl and raven, so now you, the backers, have to break this tie!
I‘ve already narrowed it down to barn owl vs. falcon, but you have the final say. Vote in the poll below and let me know which design you like more!
