This update is mostly for international backers. Topics for today include Essen Spiel, a faster shipping method, and AUS/NZ fulfillment update.

Joseph Goodman is visiting Germany to attend Essen Spiel! He will be there Thursday and Friday, hanging out with our German translation partner System Matters (Hall 1, booth 1D711).

EU/UK backers, if you'd like to come by and get an autograph or just talk fantasy books, please do!

We are working on a process to significantly speed up shipping for international backers. In short, we'll be delivering product directly from China to destination markets, rather than stopping off at our warehouse in Indiana. This means the backlist add-on choices at the pledge manager stage will be more limited for international backers, but for most markets you'll receive your items weeks (or maybe months) sooner. More details to come and it should be a very positive development.

We are told by the local fulfillment partner that the vessel carrying our shipment has arrived. Beyond that we don't have any additional updates. As soon we as get more information, AUS/NZ backers, we will let you know!

Hello everyone,

Here is the latest fulfillment update for Caverns of Thracia. In short, lots of progress for CAN and EU/UK.

Canada is at 96% shipped. The remaining orders are mostly items where we need to correct a customer service issue (i.e. we're 1 unit short on an add-on, or we have to email a backer about an issue, and so on).

EU/UK is at 98% shipped, with the remaining orders similar to the Canada notes as outlined above.

The vessel carrying our shipment to Australia will arrive at port on September 27. From there, it will take a week or two to arrive at the fulfillment company's location. Then we will be in the queue for fulfillment by their team. It's completely normal to have another game company or two already in line ahead of us when our inventory arrives at their location, so we will stay in communication with their team about when the lines open up to start fulfillment on our project.

Just for reference, USA is at 99%+, and we're just working through the last couple customer concerns about damages or missing items.

At this point, there won't be much action to provide updates on until the Australian fulfillment starts, and that is likely 3-4 weeks away at the earliest. Hello Caverns of Thracia backers!

Here's an update for those of you still waiting on your parcels. Short version is - hundreds of parcels have shipped out for EU/UK and Canada in the last couple weeks.

In general, USA is 99% complete. We're now processing late surveys and "makeup items" for USA backers. 100+ parcels went out in the last week or so, and we have 21 in the queue as of right now to correct various customer service issues.

We still show 165 incomplete surveys, most of which are likely US backers. If you haven't yet received a package, please make sure you have completed your survey.

EU/UK is now 73% complete. Several hundred parcels were shipped out in the last 1-2 weeks by our local fulfillment partner. We're getting regular updates from the fulfillment partner and anticipate the pace of fulfillment to continue.

Canada is now 69% complete. A huge batch of parcels has gone out recently from our local fulfillment partner. From what they've told us, this week will be lighter on shipping but next week or soon after will likely see the completion of the remaining parcels. 

We are waiting for a vessel update from our Australian local market partner. The customs broker on the Australian side recently asked for some information so we anticipate the delivery landing in market soon. Once we get confirmation we will let you know.

That's the latest news. We're still actively working with our local market partners to get everything shipped out. Hope this helps, everyone. More updates as we have news.

Hello Caverns of Thracia backers!

Here's an update for those of you still waiting on your parcels. (If you already got your books, you can ignore this update!)

International backers, thanks as always for your patience. Most of the updates here concern international parcels.

As a side note, nearly 200 surveys are still incomplete, and most of those are US backers. If you are a US backer and you haven't received your parcel, please double-check that you've completed your survey.

The vast majority of USA packages have shipped out. Right now we have 116 late survey completions that we are picking, plus assorted corrections to missing or damaged items.

If you completed your survey late, please be patient. Surveys that are completed on schedule get processed very early like an assembly line - we often have dozens or hundreds of identical orders and they move very quickly. But at the late-survey stage, the main assembly line has been put away, and every single order is unique. It goes much slower. As much as possible we encourage everyone who wants a speedy package to complete surveys before the deadline!

We are waiting on the remainder of the product to be delivered. The vessel containing this delivery hit port late last week. It typically takes 2-3 weeks from this point to arrive at the fulfillment center. We're hopeful that once it arrives, the fulfillment lines can get set up quickly. We're following up with our international fulfillment partner to ensure they're preparing for the delivery.

Our Canada fulfillment partner told us at Gen Con that they are having staffing issues. The product has arrived and we are simply waiting for it to get shipped out. The latest tracking we have from them shows that 68 out of 293 Canadian parcels have shipped. We're following up with them, and they're actively trying to get back up to speed.

The product is still en route.

Just a quick update to say - we had an awesome time at Gen Con!

It was wonderful seeing so many of you in person and discussing Caverns of Thracia with you.

Our entire team (including customer service and warehouse staff) was out of office last week, and will generally be out this week as well.

Once everyone is back in the office next Monday, we'll start addressing any emails we've received. In the meantime, if you receive our out-of-office message at [email protected], there is no need to panic or re-send your email. Once the team is back in front of the computer they'll start addressing any emails.
