It's been a month since this campaign wrapped up. There is so much to discuss in this update, let's get to it!

Time flies when you are preparing files for the printer. Speaking of progress, all books are in various stages of layout and proofing as of the date of this update. And interior artwork keeps rolling in every day (see below for a preview). That includes not just the four books in the main boxed set, but also the FEF adventures (all four of them) and the Compendium of Dungeon Crawls #5 and #6, the Book of UnderDelves, the GM screen, the Stretch Goal Book, and Advanced Advantage Packet #1.

Speaking of the Book of 2-Page UnderDelves, we received dozens of UnderDelves for consideration and had a hard time deciding which nine will make the final book. But after running them through a scoring rubric, we are proud to announce the nine backers that had their UnderDelves selected for inclusion in the book (in no particular order):

Yesterday and last night we rallied and ended up with 1,626 backers and just over $255,000 in funding! Overtime Mode was a blast, as the campaign continued for over 5 hours past the end time. Huge shout out to Rick for co-hosting the live stream with me for 3.5 hours and to Scott for jumping on for a bit to chat about old movies (among other things).

How about this for good news! We unlocked the GM screen when we passed $250K! The player facing side will include full color art, while the inside will include the 6 tables of random Giant's Bag Contents.

Yesterday and last night night we also unlocked 2 more slots for backers to submit 2-Page UnderDelves! So we will select 9 backer submitted UnderDelves to appear alongside the Goodman Games 5E team UnderDelves. Don't forget UnderDelve submissions are due in less than a week (Feb. 18th at midnight EST). See the Backer only section below for more information on how to submit a 2-Page UnderDelve.

During Overtime Mode last night, we unlocked 13 new UnderDeep-themed monsters. These will appear in the Stretch Goal book, available for free only to the backers of this campaign. Its our way to say Thanks for your support! The Stretch Goal book will be approximately 32 pages long, and will feature the six 2-Page Giant-themed Delves, the six random tables of Giant's Bag Contents, and now bestiary of 13 fully designed UnderDeep-themed monsters. In case you missed it last night, here is a list of the monsters (the last two were unlocked after the live stream ended):

1. Arachnibat: A CR 7 Monstrosity-a giant bat/giant spider hybrid
2. Sporetender Crab: A Gargantuan CR 10 Monstrosity with a fungus forest on its back
3. Darkness Stalker: A CR 9 Elemental that alters form and power based on available light
4. Lode Walker: A CR 12 Construct of magnetic metal that collects debris to forge weapons
5. Swarm of Threadlings: A CR 4 Swarm of Oozes that float through the UnderDeep
6. Dragonmole: A CR 23 (!) Dragon/mole hybrid that rules a huge region of the UnderDeep
7. Sporegrove Sentinel: A CR 10 Plant-a giant mushroom-like treant guardian
8. Phantaworm: A CR 8 Monstrosity-an ethereal worm
9. Ormhala: A CR 14 Monstrosity-a giant bat/giant serpent hybrid
10. Rune Dragon: A CR 15 Dragon with Runes on its scale that it can activate.
11. Crystallure: A CR 9 Monstrosity with a bioluminescent crystal lure
12. Motrold: A CR 8 Giant-a disgusting troll with mold-infused hide
13. Deep Skyphozoa: A CR 17 Aberration-a massive planar jellyfish stuck in the UnderDeep

And a special Shout Out to Team Storm Giants for winning the Trivia Challenge during the campaign. We will announce in an upcoming Update what that means for the victorious team.

Holy smokes! It's the final day!

More stretch goals cleared! Overnight we cleared two more stretch goals. At $235k we made the deluxe clamshell box even more awesome by adding interior printing, and at 1,500 backers we unlocked another slot for backer-submitted delves.

Next stretch goal is close! Only $9k to the GM screen!

Last chance for the deluxe clamshell box! In an era of print-on-demand, Goodman Games publishes beautiful books with a physicality and presence. We continue our commitment to high production values with Terror From The UnderDeep.

The simple "boxed set" that has been a staple of D&D publications since 1974 gets a major upgrade with our deluxe clamshell edition. This exclusive box has two hinges and interlocking side walls. It stands upright on the table. We can print on the interior, so it also serves as a GM screen of sorts. The dimensions are expanded to contain the stretch goal booklet. With the right stretch goals cleared, we might even add elastic bands to hold handouts.
