Selius here, bringing you a quick update while Lexi travels to Pittsburgh for Anthrocon. One week after launch and we're already on the cusp of reaching our first stretch goal! I am excited to tell y'all about this—I've been letting it simmer since last year.
If we can reach this first stretch goal, then we will debut our first Delver Theme Pack! This will be a smaller installment of the Deck of Delvers series, featuring a consistent theme and a single artist's vision, rather than being a huge collaboration of different artists. These will feature some NPCs but will also contain a variety of story-relevant items and encounters, such as magic weapons, puzzles, or traps. I envision this as essentially an adventure in card pack form!
Moon & Rose... what could it mean?
Bestiary and Harmony will join Champions and Powers as the tentpole NPC decks, providing a wide range of interesting and distinct characters. If we can achieve this stretch goal, then the packs will allow me to create consistent, nimble, and perhaps experimental sets of cards in the future!
If we do reach this stretch goal, then I suppose we'll need to increase the number of slots in the card binder... don't worry, we're prepared to future proof it. And as a reminder, if we achieve it, then everyone in the top two backer tiers will receive the Delver Theme Pack automatically, no extra purchase necessary!
