Hey everyone! I'm trying to keep things moving along since I am about to be head down fully in nothing but Big Brew Bash fulfillment, so I've already gotten everything put together for surveys and have sent out smoke tests. If you receive one and encounter any problems please let me know right away! I'll get on fixing it, and it will be a big help to the fellow backers coming after you.
Due to production timelines, there will not be a pre-order store for this campaign. Pre-orders will become available on lairbrew.com once we are far enough along and surveys have been mostly completed.
A collaboration here on Backerkit that I am participating in, Tributes, finally has a visible participation list with some teasers. If you're in to enamel pins and nostalgic video games you might find something to love there. My project will be Jiggy Jam! It will feature some combining sets as well as some blind bag mini pins.

There are a LOT of failed card payments.
$7,000 worth of card payments failed. That is a BIG chunk of our funding and money I am absolutely going to need to be able to deliver on every promise in a timely fashion. If you are not absolutely certain your card was charged successfully please consider checking up on it! I budgeted with a cushion, but not a "7k gone is no big deal" size one, so I must humbly request card failures be resolved in a timely manner. I'd be extremely grateful and it will help make sure we get to stick to the schedule which is fair for everyone.
The campaign is officially ending tomorrow!!! As a recap, so far the trash can, salmon, tuna, and sardine tin bags are unlocked, along with 4 new plush keychains.
I have great news for the sardine bag lovers AND the jurassic haunch lovers. I won't be switching them, but I will be making the sardine bag available immediately! They are now available on the add-ons page and as a backer level. Sardine bag won by such a landslide I decided I could tighten the belt some and get it done.
Our funding has backslid some but I plan to keep the keychains unlocked. It means way less cushion, but we keep popping over and back under. That may change now that we're in the final stretch!
I got shown prototypes for the fish skeleton and sardine keychains! The sardine is getting some work, but the fish skeleton is ready to go.

We're halfway sold out of campaign designated grilled haunch bags in the add-ons
Final tuna and salmon keychain prototypes arrived and have been approved for manufacturing
Sardine and fish skeleton keychain prototypes are being worked on, the first draft has not been shared
Second drafts on both Tinned Chow and Sable Chow are still underway.
Also, folks have been excited for the sardine pencil case! I've attached a poll to decide if I should be shifting any of the goals around to best satisfy folks. The pencil case and the haunch would both have different prices from standard bags (they're less) so they seem like a good point to swap if it is done at all. Please answer if you can, I'd appreciate it!
Here's some quick phone photos to show what we've received! You can see the double keychain attachment for the salmon and tuna, and the width of/hardware on the new straps. These are what have been approved for manufacturing when we reach that point.
Excellent news everyone! Not only are the tuna and salmon plush keychain prototypes done (and EXTREMELY ADORABLE,) I was also able to negotiate a new price for them and my other plush keychains... letting me cut the price in HALF. Plush keychains are now just $10!
If you purchased an add-on or backed for 1 plush keychain, you now have 2 unless you update your order!
This is because I can't edit the price of a purchased item or backed tier. I would have simply lowered the price but that was not an option. If 2 for what was previously the price of 1 does not appeal to you you're able to change your selections. There are now backer tiers for 1, 2, 3, and 4 bags, and 1, 2, 3, and 4 plush keychains! So there are easy options to jump to.

What do you think? I love them, they're so cute! I'm excited to add these to my shop in the future and it will be so nice to have them in-hand soon. Between the 2 I think the salmon is my favorite, so the opposite of the bags for me in this case. Just like the original grilled meat plush keychains, these have the 2 different kinds of attachments so you can choose which you prefer- the sturdier grip of a classic key ring or the easier use of a lobster clasp.

Hello all, great news! The sardine keychain and fish skeleton keychain are available as choices for the plush meat keychain. They'll be getting submitted to prototyping shortly! That means it is on to the spotted egg back with the crack in it, Sable Chow. That one is already in prototyping and is currently getting work on the second iteration- the first was accidentally big enough to fit a whole toddler in so I haven't shared it anywhere yet to make sure there isn't any confusion about the final size, haha.
Which of these keychains are you more excited for? I really want to see how the sardine turns out, it looks so sad but in an adorable way.
There isn't really much else to say right now. We're at that mid-campaign slump where everything is moving very slow until we get closer to the end of the campaign. Now is also the time where almost all new pledges are coming from random discovery or word of mouth! If you know someone who would be interested in these bags I'd be extremely grateful if you shared the campaign with them.
In just a couple weeks time we'll be attending Bewhiskered as vendors, and I'll be doing my best to fit the prototypes in to the display somewhere if you want to see them in person. We'll have our original Carrion Baggage line for sale as well! The campaign will be ending shortly after the convention.
