Thoughts, guys! They randomly added a red glow to the design. If you’re into it, cool if not, I can have them fix it. Totally your call.
I am however going to have them fix the planet ring outline for better detail in the quantum.
Also just a heads up the backpack cap mold is still currently in production! They notified me it’s currently being made. 🤞🏻nervous and excited all at the same time!
Hey Wanderers! I’m finalizing the enamel pin specs today, and both pins will feature gold hardware for a unified look across the set. They will each be 2" tall.
For the Nuka Cola Quantum pin, I’m planning a glowing blue colorway enamel. Before I lock production, I’d love your input on the finishes for the pins:
Shimmer
Glitter
Matte only
Your feedback helps finalize the look so everything matches perfectly.
Right now, 32 backers have payments that didn’t go through, totaling $4,815. This is completely normal for crowdfunding, and BackerKit has a built‑in process to help anyone with a failed payment get things sorted if they want to keep their pledge.
Here’s how BackerKit handles it:
Backers have 14 days after the campaign ends to update their payment information.
If the payment isn’t fixed within those 14 days, their pledge will temporarily show as $0 in the Pledge Manager.
Their pledge items and add‑ons will still be there, just marked as a balance owed.
They will still receive their survey, and they’ll have the chance to update their payment and reinstate their pledge.
Once a backer updates their payment info, BackerKit re‑charges them immediately.
If they don’t update it, BackerKit will automatically retry on Day 7 and Day 14.
This information comes directly from BackerKit’s payment policy nothing unusual, just part of the normal post‑campaign workflow.
I’ll continue posting updates as usual with production progress, surveys, timelines, and everything happening behind the scenes. Just wanted to give everyone a heads‑up so there are no surprises as BackerKit processes payments over the next two weeks.
FINAL DAY BACKERKIT UPDATE — Rocket Pins + Metal ID Card Drop
Today’s the last day to jump into the Wasteland Wanderer BackerKit, so I’m dropping something special. Instead of doing the usual bottle or bottlecap enamel pins (everyone does those), I designed a set inspired by the F76 rocket décor in the game.
I’m also revealing the metal ID card design, which is ready to go. I’m open to comments, tweaks, or suggestions this is your chance to help shape the final look before production. The # will represent whatever vault number you would like (I will be sending out emails/ surveys for these as well if oyu backed this). Would you guys like your cards numbered? like 1/10, 2/10, etc? Let me know!
Surveys will be sent out later for mailing addresses, and I’ll send an email beforehand so nobody misses it.
After the campaign closes, pricing will increase, and I’ll only have a limited amount available once everyone’s orders are fulfilled so if you want guaranteed access at the campaign rate, today’s the day to lock it in. All the add ons WILL NOT be included or available with the backpacks later on. This is a backerkit exclusive opportunity.
And as always, I’ll be continuing to update regularly with progress, production notes, and everything happening behind the scenes. I’m here for the long haul, even after the campaign wraps.
If you’ve been waiting to back the project, this is your last chance before it closes!
While working through the interior construction on the circular pack, I’ve been looking at the zipper opening and thinking about a small improvement that could make the bag even more secure and polished based off a suggestion here.
Right now, when the zipper is fully open, there are tiny gaps on the left and right sides where the zipper meets the circular seam. They’re normal for this style of clamshell opening but I’ve been experimenting with adding two small triangular gussets in those spots to close the gaps and keep small items from slipping out.
✨ What the gussets do
Close the side openings where the zipper meets the seam
Keep pens, charms, coins, makeup, etc. from falling out
Make the opening feel more contained and professional
Don’t interfere with the zipper path or how wide the bag opens
🧵 What they look like
They’re small, clean triangular panels sewn into the zipper tape and the circular seam same color as the bag and they disappear visually when the bag is closed. When open, they act like soft “walls” on each side of the zipper.
💬 I want your thoughts
Would you like this added upgrade to the circular pack? It’s a subtle change, but it improves usability and keeps the interior more secure. If the majority of backers want it, I’ll include it in the final production pattern.
Drop your vote or thoughts in the comments this project is community‑built, and I want every detail to feel intentional and useful.
also sorry I have been MIA the last few days I got the CON CRUD and have been extremely ill!
Hi everyone! I’m excited to share the finalized design layout for the ITA Backpack. The manufacturer has completed the full blueprint with measurements, the bottle‑cap silhouette, the ITA window placement, and all the functional details like the straps and zipper.
I just want to confirm with you all that you are happy with this and we’re good to move forward making the cap mold! This update is very important! I really want you guys to all be happy with this!
This will be able to fit up to a 13” iPad Pro inside.
Before this new sample build begins, I want to check in with you are you happy with this design? Your feedback matters, and I want to make sure this looks exactly how you imagined it. If there’s anything you’d like adjusted or clarified, now is the perfect time to let me know.
Unlike the last two manufacturers, I was working with they never sent me anything. They just made a crappy sample and that was that. This is their drawing their engineer sent me to begin making the cap mold for the front.
Thank you for being part of this project and helping shape it. Your excitement and input mean everything, and I want to make sure you’re genuinely happy with what you’ll be receiving.
