Project FAQ
The set is a closed slip case with 2 Books of Battle Mats, including sheets of double sided punch out tokens to customize the maps. The 2 books combine to create maps of 24x24", with each map page 12x12" (and each page is playable separately). The double sided tokens are 2mm card and are pre cut sheets ready to pop out. The slip case is "closed" at the ends (so essentially a thin box" to easily store the map books and tokens after they have been "punched")
The Night City Map Box is only available as part of the Cyberpunk Master Pledge Level and the Everything +1 pledge level. Extra Cyberpunk Master Pledge Levels can be added on in the Add On Menu.
For UK & EU backers the VAT payable will be calculated in the pledge manager based on the order and shipping value and the standard VAT rate of the backer's country or residence. For US backers, sales tax will be added for backers in Georgia. Other fees and duties may apply to orders from countries where we are not offering "friendly" shipping.
Back at the "access to all items" pledge level then select your desired items as add ons.
The Add-On Scenery pack is 5 A4 sheets of static clings with scenery designs. These cling to any laminated map, and never lose their stick. (note these static clings are single sided designs).
We are making 2 types of token in this campaign. Firstly we are including double-sided card punch out tokens in The Cyberpunk set and The Chase Pack. These will be vehicles and other designs which either move (think cop cars, garbage trucks etc) or terrain which can take advantage of a double sided option. And The Add-On Scenery for RPG Maps - Cyberpunk pack will be static clings (reusable window stickers which never lost their cling!). These will, as the name suggests, be terrain and features which, generally speaking, would not move.
No We have finalised about 75% of the maps, for the remaining designs we want to work with our community to create them. We'll be sharing designs and polls throughout this campaign so backers can input into the maps and tokens they would like us to add.
June 2025
Yes. The digital package includes gridded and gridless versions of the maps.
BackerKit FAQ
BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.
If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.
Backers often receive special rewards for their support, such as:
- Exclusive products
- Bonus rewards for backing related projects
- Discount pricing
- Behind-the-scenes updates
- Creative input opportunities
Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.
- Select a pledge level with the reward(s) you would like to receive
- Select any add-ons
- Confirm your pledge!
- You are charged only if the campaign meets its funding goal.
- Charges happen when the campaign ends, not when you pledge.
The creator will send you a survey to:
- Ask you for more information about your rewards (selecting options, etc)
- Collect shipping information
- Offer additional items you may want to add to your pledge
- Collect shipping fees (if applicable)
The survey will be sent to the email address we have on file with your pledge. Additional payments are charged when you complete the survey.
Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.
You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.
Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
