This is a pretty cool lower level spell that allows the caster to manifest a weapon he or she already owns - into their hands. This can be ANY item, but the spell was designed for two main reasons.

This spell instantly materializes a weapon of the caster’s choice in his or her hands by only stating a single verbal magic word.

Stating this magic word in reverse “hides” the weapon as quickly as it came into being. Many magi choose a single-syllable word while even more choose a PALINDROME as their command word. An example of this is the power word SADAS.

You can “hide” any handheld weapon or item, magical or non-magical, but WEAPONS prove to be the most effective. Wizards/Warriors love this spell, as it is not only deadly, but it does not count against one’s encumbrance.

This spell is particularly effective as a SURPRISE ATTACK. Rory The Cleaver once feigned surrender to his foes calling for his capture. As Rory walked to within striking distance, he did just that. Stating aloud his now famous magic command word, SADAS, he materialized his magic axe known as WARCLEAVER and split the skulls of his would-be captors with startling effectiveness.
