Project Update: End-of-July update: sampling almost finished!

Phew. I did not expect there to be as many miscommunications as there are, here. Let's see if I can address everything that we discussed and settled on. More details below all the pics.

1) these are the pins as of the most recent update from the factory.

2) These (circled in purple) have printing too faint, which I reported, but it should be fixed with it switching to screenprint (more on that later).

3) For some reason, peach and cat skull's printing were swapped. It was bizarrely difficult for me to communicate this but I think I did...it seemed to be understood after I drew this...

4) There is glitter ON TOP of the print, for almost all with glitter?? I don't understand still even after lengthy convo how or why that happened but it won't happen again.

5) This was UV print, not screenprint like we had previously agreed on many times.

6) I didn't expect light purple to turn out so red, when her plating is the perfect color. I'm sorry. They've all been enameled already, only the glitter colorways and the printing layers are still being tested, so she is the only one who in my opinion looks quite different from the concept.
Part of that jarring difference should be fixed with the adjusted face and white printing added.

Okay, so now that you know the happenings, here are the resolutions that were proposed and accepted.

1) Since the main concern has been that the white print will print incorrectly on top of another epoxy layer...we decided to do the white as the same layer as everything else. So, it will all be screenprint as requested and paid for, and all in one application. Epoxy will still be coated over it, like my pill pins were:
All of those metal scratches are UNDER epoxy, so in person it doesn't look anything like this, it's glossy. Though that won't be an issue with these anyway.

This means no more white as final layer up top to closely resemble actual light highlights, but I think we all just want the pins now and they'll still be super cute when finally finished.

Everything's plating looks really good, as long as peach jelli and cat skull jelli are correctly swapped back.

For the printing, the reason it looks so translucent is because they did UV even though I thought we had established 5x over that we were doing screenprint. They will be screenprint, now that I've conceded about the white, and the colors will be better. So, the faces that are too faint shouldn't be an issue.

That will also actually fix the problems with the glitter. I reiterated that my fish pins by them clearly don't have glitter covering the print. So that is going to be sealed BEFORE printing.

The ones I "approved" on the condition of course that they are all changed to screenprint, were:
• both flans
• pink
• dark blue
• green
• red
• zombie
• orange
• slime (this is basically exactly how I predicted it to be, but it was hard to explain that in 2D concept art)

Also, since it's been switched back to screenprint as always intended, glow in the dark will still happen.

I'm sorry these are taking so long! And if anyone wants to swap light purple out please let me know, I feel bad about that. I should have caught it earlier.

My next mini pin collection will be new gacha moths for a Pintober event on backerkit ran by some makers. They are simpler (just basic soft enamel pin + epoxy + print, no extra layers of anything) and the mold already exists, so it should be speedy...

Here is a preview of that.
Lol of course only after scribbling everything out did I realize the pics were in reverse order. The rainbow moth gets a pastel goth colorway and a remake that's glittery.

The next non-pin campaign will be a collab with CatHeadPins and is to fund more septum rings:

Sakura is mine, roses and thorns is CHP!

Thank you for your patience!
