How is your week going? Today I spent a very long time in traffic driving to a buffet for a friend's birthday and of course eating too much and regretting all life choices. Then I drove in more traffic to lose my sanity at Costco and I didn't even need toilet paper!! As you can imagine, I'm ready to go to sleep after I push the button to share this update (ᴗ˳ᴗ)ᶻ𝗓𐰁
I have more photos from my manufacturer featuring the Magic Forest pin and I had to share because I'm loving the glow-in-the-dark!

I also wanted to share the backing cards I've made for the sets. For this campaign I decided to make a different card for each set. As you can see, all 3 pins will be on the card. Which one is your favorite? I'm actually liking the simple ones like Hot Pot and Magic Forest.
Next up is to wait to see the pins with screen prints on and to make any changes or give approvals! That's always a fun step as I finally get to see how the pins will look fully finished.

Is everyone entering hot summer and starting to slowly melt? I HATE being hot and sweaty and my face gets super red like a tomato. Here in my town in Mexico our seasons are a few months earlier so I've already gone through summer. It's finally rainy season and it gets cool from all the rain. I actually love rain so bring it on! 😍
The manufacturing of the pins has been going good so far and I'm still confident the timeline will be met. The company I use is very easy to work with and shows me every step for approval. First comes the pin molds which have all been made and approved. Next is showing me a sample with the enamel colors filled in to see what I think. The majority looked good and I only asked for a slight change on a few of them. Usually to make the color a little lighter. Next I'm waiting to see the color changes and we can go forward!
I thought it would be funny to show you this sample image with two of the pins. It looks like a squirrel munching down on psychadelic acorns and a cat crying over what must be a very sad part in a romance novel. Poor guy.
Please note that this is NOT how the pins will look. This is just showing me the enamel colors and they have not been sanded down so that nothing spills over and the bright metal shows. This also does not include the screenprint as that is done as the final step.

If you've missed the emails to complete your survey, please know you can still fill them out after Monday 16th and it will automatically get locked. When surveys are locked you cannot make further changes HOWEVER, you can always make changes to your mailing address right up to the point when I am ready to ship out packages.

The numbers are really close but the most picked kit is Forest! Very close behind is the Magic Forest.
As for individual mini pins, Calico is the winner (I'm really happy about this because one of my best friends loves to read and has a calico called Momo who's the cutest cat! I'm excited to give her a pin). Coming close behind is the Fox.
My plan is to get all pin files ready to go by the end of this week to begin the important phase of getting them made! I'll update you guys when I get some preview photos of the pins. 😃

I'm excited to see which are the most popular. If you missed out on any extra pins you wanted during the campaign, you can do so when you reach the Add-On page. And please note, that while the survey collects your address, you can change it at any point in the future until the items are almost ready to ship out. I'll send out a reminder when we get closer.
Pre-Order Shop
The Pre-Order shop is now open for those who weren't able to make a pledge during the campaign. Find it HERE (You should also be able to access it from the 'Late Pledges' button on the main campaign page but it appears to be heading to the wrong link so I'll work with BK to fix that). You can purchase items until the survey closes in 2 weeks. They will be shipped out the same time as the campaign orders during the summer.
If you already made a pledge during the campaign, please use the survey and not the pre-order shop as I don't want you getting charged double for items and shipping!
Other Updates
I've been working on files to get ready to send to my manufacturer and start the production process. Can you believe I ended up with 22 pins and 3 stickers! (⊙_⊙;) I have 16 pins finished and all 3 stickers done. I'll also show you the backing card for the kits when I have them designed.

The survey has been approved and I've just sent out a Smoke Test. This means that 5% of backers will be receiving the survey to fill out. This allows me to check if there are any issues to handle before the remaining 95% are sent out. The survey allows you to choose which pins you'd like to receive including any add-ons made during the campaign. You'll also have the option to choose more add-ons if you missed anything from before.
If you happened to receive the Survey, I ask that you please fill it out as soon as you can and let me know if you run into any problems. This ensures that I can send out all the surveys in a day or two. ☜(ﾟヮﾟ☜)
