International Backers
For international folks, your games have just arrived with our friends at Peregrine Coast Press who will be fulfilling your orders in the coming weeks. A reminder to EU backers that your VAT has been pre-paid.
Digital Edition
I am nearly finished with both the Print and Play and Playing Card versions of the game. I'm hoping to upload those to you here on BackerKit sometime next week. The playing card version required some reworking of the rules text in unexpected ways so thank you for your patience as I have been figuring that out.
TTWH is Out October 14th!
The public release day for the game is October 14th. If you love the game and want to spread the love as it becomes available to everyone else, that would be a massive help to me!
I can't wait to start seeing the game out in people's hands. It's real! Please please share your stories with me as you get the chance to sit down and play. It's my favorite part of making games.

A quick update to let you know that all shipping fees have been added to your surveys and cards will be charged this Thursday, September 11th.
NOTE: I've been made aware of an error where some digital-only pre-orders were seeing a charge for shipping. I believe this has been corrected but please let me know if you are still seeing this or any other errors on your survey.
A reminder for folks in the EU: your shipping is inclusive of VAT so you will not have to pay import fees when the package arrives to you. Because of that, this fee might appear higher than you would have expected for shipping alone.
Additionally, we will be closing the pre-order store Thursday. So if you know anyone who would like to grab a copy before it closes, please share it along!
All of the copies for fulfillment are on their way to me and should arrive this week. My hope is to get everything in the mail as soon as possible, ideally by the end of next week.
The games have successfully arrived at the warehouse and we should be able to start getting copies in the mail in the next 2-3 weeks!
This a big logistics update so please read carefully the below information.
Shipping Fees, Tariffs, and VAT
We have been able to calculate our shipping fees and now have a final value for what we owed for Tariffs upon entry into the US. A reminder that we have not yet charged you shipping on your survey.
Tariffs The duty charge for importing the games was $1983.00. We have 406 backers receiving physical copies of The Time We Have. That equates to $4.88 per backer. We will be folding this into your shipping charge as an additional $4.50 for backers receiving a physical copy of the game.
I want to personally apologize that this charge needs to be added at all. Thankfully, we are on the lower end of those impacted by tariffs this year but it still sucks on all fronts. I appreciate your understanding and patience as we've navigated this volatile situation.
Shipping Fees The good news is that we are able to keep shipping down by handling US fulfillment ourselves and working with Peregrine Coast Press for international fulfillment.
Shipping fees will be added to BackerKit in the next few days and we will be charging cards a couple days after that.
VAT We will be folding VAT into your shipping charges for EU customers as Peregrine will be pre-paying your import fees for the game. This will mean that the shipping charge you see on BackerKit is likely higher than you expect but that is because you will not need to pay import fees when the game arrives. Because this is a card-game, the rate will be higher than you may be used to paying for book-only RPG products.
Digital Edition
We are hard at work on the digital edition of The Time We Have. We're experimenting with possible VTT solutions in addition to the PDF rulebook for using a standard deck of cards and the print-and-play files.
The Finish Line
All this means that we are nearing the end of this campaign and you will have the game in your hands soon. As I mentioned above, the plan is to get everything in the mail by the end of the month. I truly cannot wait for you to see the game in person and can't wait to hear the stories you tell with it.
As of Friday, July 29th, all copies of The Time We Have are on their way to the US! Now we wait for them to travel across the ocean. Current estimated arrival is September 2nd. I will then have copies for fulfillment sent to me from our warehouse and then out to you. Which means we are on track for games to you by October!
I had the pleasure of attending Gen Con this week where I was able to show the first ever copies to a bunch of our contributors and others who are excited for the game. Their reactions were so delightful. I cannot wait for you to get to hold it in your hands.
Shipping/Tariffs
In September, once the games have cleared port and entered the US, I will have a clear idea of how much we are hit by tariffs. At this time, I will also have the final quotes for shipping. Together, these will give me the exact amount you can expect to pay for shipping. Keep an eye on my next update for that. As a reminder, you have not yet been charged for shipping and that charge will show up in September before we lock addresses.
