It's time for an exciting update: I will send the smoke test to the first backers right after publishing this update!
A smoke test is designed to allow a small number of backers to fill out the backer survey so I can check that everything is working as it should. Once the smoke test has been successfully completed, the surveys will be sent out to ALL backers. Please fill out the survey as soon as possible so that I can order the Mystery Mixes and extras in time. The soft lock is March 8th, which is next Sunday. On March 9th, I will place the order with my manufacturer. Everyone will receive their survey email by the end of this week at the latest!
Small note: Unfortunately, Backerkit was unable to display larger quantities of Mystery Mixes properly. If you have selected 20 Mystery Mixes: please allow yourself some time and fill out the survey on your computer. You will have to select all 20 mixes individually, one after the other. If you have selected 50 Mystery Mixes: Please write the exact number per type in the survey (for example 14x Grass Type Starters, 7x Ghost Type Friends and so on). Backerkit's limit was 20 mixes, and before I force you to select bundles of 5 (as suggested by BK support), just write this as free text and make sure that the total adds up to 50. Thank you!
At the end of the survey, you will need to review your payment information to ensure any additionally ordered add-ons can be charged. However, shipping costs will not be charged yet. Since there are so many changes in tariffs at the moment (especially in the US market) and I want to offer you the cheapest shipping price, I will wait until the Itas are on their way to me and I can better estimate the final costs. Until then, you can also freely adjust the shipping address. If you move during this time, you can simply enter your current address there. I will write another update and let you know when I lock the addresses.

I hope you had a good start to the week! Here's a quick update: Please check whether your payments have gone through successfully. I can only ship your rewards if they have been paid for in advance.
If you have problems with your payment method, you can also enter a different card. Backerkit will then try to collect the amount again shortly.
If you don't have another credit card, PayPal offers a free digital credit card. This card will then collect the amounts from your PayPal balance. I've been using mine in my wallet for years and it works great. Friends of mine have also tested it and it works wonderfully on Backerkit. I wanted to let you know just in case you need a plan B.
I won't lock stretch goals that weren't achieved due to failed payments, but since the stretch goal of the freebie mini pin for all backers was only barely achieved, I may have to convert it into a vinyl sticker if too many payments continue to fail. (I hope to avoid that but we have too many failed payments atm sadly) To ease the financial burden on you a little and to better estimate the shipping costs (maybe we'll be lucky and the US tariffs will ease up by then, haha), the shipping costs will only be due once the rewards are on their way to me. I'll write another update in good time once I have a better idea of the exact timing.

What's next? Backerkit will collect the funds from you, so please keep an eye on it to make sure the money has been successfully transferred. After the funds have been collected by Backerkit (this usually takes between 1-2 weeks), I will send the survey to everyone who has successfully sent the funds.
I will prepare the backer survey within the next upcoming week. This means that I will arrange all reward levels and add-ons in the Backerkit pledge manager, add pictures and information and write an explanation of how you can select extra items - even now after the campaign has ended.
How can I choose my rewards? In the backer survey you can choose which sets or pin designs and extras you would like to have. You’ll be super flexible in what you can pick. I'll post another update once I'm ready to send out the survey so you know you should keep an eye on your email inbox.
The final stretch goal is a freebie pin for ALL backers! I’ll also work on that during the next week (since I’m tabling at a convention this weekend).
I’ll set up all pins’ printing files by the end of next week so I can order everything immediately once Backerkit sends the funds <3

There are only 2 days left until the end of the campaign, and today we have another big update!
New sets: Flying, Psychic, Steel AND Legendary Friends now available! Your massive support motivated me to give my all and draw 4 new sets since the last update! You can select the new sets in the Backer Survey and, if necessary, increase the number of mystery mixes you need. I am VERY excited about the new sets! Instead of the 8 sets we had planned, we now have 15 (oops). The Legendary Pins are medium pins, so they are slightly larger than the rest of the Mystery Mixes.
I also added new add-on variants: Half set: 9x Mini pin (1x each pin of the set either normal OR shiny) Full Set: 18x Mini pin (1x each pin of the set in normal AND shiny, WITHOUT the rare golden pin) You cannot mix normal and shiny pins in the half sets; please continue to use the “specific pin” option for this. This bundle saves you a few €/$ if you want a lot of pins from a specific set.
Keep in mind that the mystery mixes will become more expensive after the end of the campaign/pre-order phase (€12 instead of €10 and the specific pins €16 instead of €14).
If we exceed 25K before the campaign ends, I will add a surprise pin with a completely new design to ALL supporters with physical rewards <3
The backer survey will go out towards the end of the month (unfortunately, I have to wait until all funds have been successfully collected). Please make sure that your cards can be charged and that the correct payment methods are on file.
Some good news to finish with: shipping costs for US backers will probably be a little cheaper, as I can send some orders (especially larger ones) via DHL! I will refund any excess payments. Unfortunately, the final shipping costs depend on the final weight and value of the items, but I will keep them as low as possible for you!

Last weekend, I attended my first convention in 2026 and was therefore a little more involved in the preparations for the convention, BUT now it's time to focus fully on the set expansions again!
A lot has happened since the last update: there's a new ice type friends set and a new normal type friends set AND the 3 fairy medium pins AND the anniversary pin celebrating Pokémon's 30th birthday this year have been unlocked! The medium pins are freely selectable and not subject to a gacha system, so you can choose which ones you want. You can easily add everything to your pledges via add-on <3
There is also a new community achievement: if we reach 400 backers (or a funding goal of €22,000), a new ‘Legendary Friends’ set will be unlocked! I would be very happy if you could share the project with friends or in Pokémon-loving communities <3
Since we still have about 2 weeks to go and I would like to draw 1-2 more sets, I will post a poll where you can vote for your favorite type! I will then draw the winner next and add it as a stretch goal (it will be available and unlocked immediately).
I'm also considering designing vinyl stickers as a little surprise, which EVERY backer will receive as an extra if there are funds left over at the end <3
