Well, you did it! You’ve unlocked everything the campaign had to offer. The Characters Pack #3 is funded!
You did it, and so did we! Today, a chapter closes for us that started months ago: preparing a campaign like this takes time! What an incredible feeling!
We wish to thank everyone who participated in this campaign. Whether you backed last time or just discovered Amsel, whatever your pledge level, whether you saved the Overtime Mode multiple times tonight or you were sound asleep and forgot this existed 12 days ago… thank you, so much!
And, speaking for myself, I also want to thank everyone on the team, who worked tirelessly on this campaign; and everyone else who worked on it, be it on the technical side of things, the sound design, illustration or composition. Doing this campaign alongside so many passionate, incredibly skilled people was night and day compared to our previous campaign. It gave us a much more beautiful page of course, but also, most importantly, the feeling that we had support throughout it all, which means a lot after long hours. Thank you also to the team at BackerKit, who were as usual wonderful at putting out fires, giving constructive feedback and ideas, helping us reach more people, and generally being amazing people to work with. Finally, thank you to the other founder of the Amsel Suite, who rarely speaks publicly but was always there with me when things needed to be done or something had to be fixed, be it night or day. And, of course, thank you to our families and loved ones for their support, feedback, and encouragement.
We’ll soon be working on Harp & Scry. But, for now, we’ll be enjoying a restful weekend.
That’s… pretty amazing! 24 hours of Overtime, and the Whimsy Pack is unlocked!
How you all managed to do this is unclear, and a full investigation is in progress. Seriously, pretty incredible.
There’s still one singular Pack you can unlock: the Characters Pack #3. To do so, we have to reach €400,000. Which is just within reach! We’re 98.5% of the way there, or so! If you want to help, now’s the time!

Anyway, we’ve unlocked the Advanced Sci-Fi Pack! And we’ve unveiled some cool community goals : the Adventurers Pack and Whimsy Pack are available if the Overtime Mode lasts 12 hours, then 24 hours, respectively. You can help using a special €1 Add-On that will be available soon!

Bon, ça fait presque une demi-heure depuis notre dernier article. Comment ça va depuis tout ce temps ?
Soon, we’ll enter Overtime Mode. A BackerKit special that lets the campaign carry on as long as the Backer Train lives. As long as someone backs, upgrades their pledge, or buys an add-on, at least every 10 minutes, the campaign is not done. That may give us time to unlock the last Stretch Goal… and two more Community Goals!
If the Overtime Mode lasts for at least 12 hours, we’ll unlock the Adventurers Pack, which arrived second in this poll!
If the Overtime Mode lasts for at least 24 hours, we’ll unlock the Whimsy Pack!
But how can one make such a thing happen when one has already backed? Simple. We’ll create a special, non-transferable Add-On, a €1 Badge, that you can add to your pledge whenever the timer on the Backer Train threatens to run out. You’ll have saved the day, for a minimal amount. Make sure you upgrade your pledge before it runs out, though!
This will likely require cooperation across time zones, many attentive community members, but it is doable. Enjoy this last mission, everyone!

More and more Stretch Goals get unlocked. And it’s a big one! Knowledge-Based Maps are here! Which means you now have new tools, in Scry, to show maps differently to different players based on character knowledge. It’s a complex feature that we think will open many possibilities for impactful moments. More about that in the example in this article.
So now that you’ve unlocked this in just a few hours… well, we had to rise up to the challenge, didn’t we? Here’s one more, with an Album and extra sounds for all Backers: the Advanced Sci-Fi Pack.
And that's not all. We've got one last challenge in store for you, which will most likely rely on the Overtime Mode: the Characters Pack #3!

All of our albums will contain hours of music, thanks to controlled randomness and the ability to change the emotional nuance of the album based on the needs of the story.
