Got the photos of the weighted plush from the new manu for Athena and Nyx. I have asked for some additional photos as well as either a photo/video of a dangle text for floppiness. I will share those once I get them.
Both Athena and Nyx from the new manu are def giving the vintage plush vibes I try to give my handmade creatures. So that makes me happy! Now to just get them exactly how I have been envisioning them.
I asked them to do safety eyes instead of embroidery to get to closer to the look of my handmade Terragryff plush. For Athena I think the eyes need moved slightly. Beak size looks great, as well as the ears. (There is still thin plastic over the safety eyes just for the sample)
The body needs some work, so I will be drawing over the photos to send revisions. The front claws also need fixed, so I will be showing them the claws of the Nyx from the old manu to tell them how I want them done.
This version also doesn't include any embroidery.
What do you guys think of this version of Athena so far?
Nyx's eyes look great and her ears too.
They used the longer pile fur on her inner ears, beak, and front claws. So I will have them change that to the 1mm pile minky instead.

I got the pricing numbers for the Athena and Nyx teacup plush. They are looking good. The only costs I'm waiting to hear final price on for these is the safety testing. Once I know that we will be putting in the big order for them!

Ohio Renaissance Festival - Sept/Oct
I won't be a vendor here, but I will be attending most weekends. I will likely have a Terragryff or two with me as well. Or another of my creatures. I have one of the later day season passes, so I will be there at 2pm-7pm on the days I attend.
Curiosities and Cryptids Festival - September 14th - Medina, OH
I will be a vendor! I will share the map of my vendor booth location once I know where it will be.
Newark Pride 2025 - October 4th - Newark OH
I will be a vendor again this year! Can't wait to see everyone again.
CryptidCon & Curios Festival - October 11th, 2025 - Chardon, OH
This will be my first time vending at this one. But I am excited to see how it goes.
Ironton WizardFest 2025 - November 8th-9th, 2025 - Ironton, OH
We will be back at Ironton WizardFest again. This year we will have a stand alone booth out in front of the big tents next to Ro-Na Theater. Gotta work on planning my booth layout for this year.
And as always we have a few more events we hope to vend this year, but are waiting to hear back from still.
