Project Update: ION Heart Pilot's Handbook Update

Hello Pilots!

We realise its been quiet over here for a little while, but we have some exciting news on the progress we're making on ION Heart.

In short, the ION Heart Pilot's Handbook and ION Heart Remembrance: Echoes of the Last war are both written and going through the editing process as we speak. Almost all the artwork and layout complete (with a few pieces we'll show off below).

But what does this mean for backers? Firstly, you should be receiving the digital PDF of the Pilot's Handbook in the next few weeks or so. We'll be carrying on work on Remembrance and will keep you updated on when this is looking likely to be released digitally.

Speaking of ION Heart Remembrance, we thought you'd be interested to get a first look at a member of the Ionborn. They are sentient robotic beings who have emerged in the Rakaen Star-Weave, where the expansion book is set. We've included character creation options to let you play as an Ionborn Pilots (as well as the Rakaen spider-people).

Next, we've included info in the Pilot's Handbook about different design aesthetics Mechs might have. Here is an example of a Mo'nau Mech and their Pilot.

We've also teased out the look of the Nephilim, the extra-galactic threat that has plagued the Astral Union for years. Although the Nephilim were defeated and driven back, its fair to say a few of them are still very much hanging around in the AU.

Before we sign off here, we wanted to remind you that we are currently running a crowdfunding campaign for SHIVER Corporate. This is a corporate horror-comedy expansion expansion to the award-winning SHIVER core system:

"Can You Survive Your Nine-To-Five? A Multiplayer Corporate Horror Expansion for the Award Winning SHIVER RPG, with 228 Beautifully Illustrated Pages of Dystopian Departmental Adventures, Mad Science Mechanics, And Much, Much More."
