Project Update: Conspiracies Galore (and the last of our Classified Digital Rewards!)

It's been an honour serving with you, agents.
We're rolling out the last of our gameplay materials for SHIVER: Classified this month. You'll see that you've got access to your Conspiracy Generator, a random rolling adventure pitching machine!

The Fighting Fascists and Tyranny, a guide to LANCE in different eras (and a wonderful cameo from our SHIVER legend, Sir Steel), which comes with new monsters, weapons, adventure ideas, and (of course) some big historical baddies to undermine. This will be released over the course of the next month or so as we just put on the finishing touches.

Canadian Backers - We have not forgotten you.
Canadians will be receiving the last of their physical rewards very soon, a small logistics issue now overcome. Enjoy your time in LANCE, Canadian friends!

Rogue Bugs in the Machine
A few digital rewards hadn't been shipped properly, but we think we've got them all now. People should have access to all their PDFs, and gaming goodness.

Project Update: Customs Issues and Shipping Updates

Happy New Year, Agents.

There's always something that goes wrong in the last minutes of an investigation to really raise the stakes, isn't there? Global shipping is underway, and we've hit a few snags.

Customs Issues - Outline
We know that there have been some issues with international customs throughout this campaign. We're very sorry for that. We are working to resolve the issue for future fulfilment (Corporate Backers need not worry), but for now to work with what we have.

Customs Issues - How Do I know if it's affected Me?
The main issues affecting people so far are only when their total order is over €150, $150, or NZD1000. If you've received a notification saying "package delivered" and the address was correct and you are 200% certain no delivery was made, that is likely DPD (or their national partner in your territory) is returning the package to us (we don't know why it's marked that way, obviously it causes concern). You may have also received a request for payment from your nations customs agency.

Customs Issues - "What do I do?"
Here's what to do if this issue affects you. Please read all the steps and follow them carefully.
  1. If the Customs fee is under €60/$60/(60 whatever your currency is), and you are 100% sure it is a legitimate request for payment, pay the fee, and proceed to Step Two. If your requested fee is above that then do not pay right away, proceed to Step Two and we will review your case. 
  2. Email us at [[email protected]] with the subject line: "Customs Issue: [Your Name on your Backerkit Account], [Your Country]".
  3. Include these important details in your email: Your Correct Shipping Address, Your Full Name, The Name on Your Backerkit Account (of different than your full name), Your Full and Correct Shipping Address, a Contact Number (for you or said address)*, and your PID (EU Residents) / DNI (residents of Spain)*, your PayPal Information (preferred), or your Banking Information. Without all of these bits of information, we will struggle to help you. If time is of the essence, we cannot risk having to email back to ask you for the missing information. 
  4. Attach any invoices from customs agencies, as well as your receipts of payment if you have already paid the fees. Without these, we cannot help you.
  5. We will endeavour to refund any legitimate customs payments made to you in a timely manner, with our express apologies for this inconvenience.
  6. Enjoy your game (hopefully)!

*International delivery agencies often use the absences of a contact number (globally), a PID / DNI (Europe) as an excuse for failed deliveries, and will often not allow us to re-submit a delivery request to you or claim back any fees wrongly incurred.

Again, we are sorry that this has happened so close to the winter holidays - that really hasn't helped us (or anyone) resolve shipping problems. We really hope you enjoy your game when it gets to you!

Project Update: US Shipping Update and International Shipping

Hello Agents!

Just a quick update from us on where we are with fulfilment for the US and International backers.

For US backers, we have found that stock levels have had a bit of a dip over the holiday buying and convention season, so we are currently restocking the warehouse. Once this has happened, hopefully within a week, shipments should begin in the US.

For our international backers, we have seen that there have been quite a few issues regarding customs clearances and additional fees. This has been an issue with DPD that we are working to resolve.

Project Update: Fufilment Update! - Shipping Begins

Hello Agents!

A quick update from us on shipping your rewards - it has begun!

We are starting with UK orders this week, followed by EU, then Rest of World territories.

For our US and Canadian backers, we are just finishing up getting our fulfilment partners, but we expect to start shipping within the next 2 weeks.

Thanks for your patience and we can't wait for you to get your hands on your books!

Project Update: Fufillment Update - Dice Delays

Greetings Agents!

A quick update from us on where we are with fulfilment. Books have now all arrived at fulfilment centres and we are getting prepped for shipping.

However, we have run into an issue with restocking the SHIVER dice sets, and are currently battling UPS to deliver the shipment. Our delivery date was meant to be 2 weeks ago to line up with the books' arrival, but we have been put behind schedule by this. We have escalated the issue with UPS, so hopefully should have a resolution soon.

We'll be putting out another update as soon as we have the dice in hand and pledges start to get moving. Thanks again for your patience, and fingers-crossed this will be the last logistical hurdle for us getting pledges on the move.
