The answer is Ancient Greek heroes! Imagine getting cat-fished across space and time. Thinking you’re talking to your idealised Ubermensch saviour only to actually be hoodwinked by a murderous A.I. with a detailed knowledge of Greek mythology. You wouldn't wish that on your worst enemy, unless they were a Nazi of course.

That's the crux of what happens in March of the Machines. One of the case files found in SHIVER Classified: Unseen War. It's the late stages of WWII, it's all going wrong for the Nazis, and the bonkers military cults are crawling out the woodwork like ants looking for jam sandwiches.

This particular story focuses on 'The Order of Falling Sand'. A Nazi cult obsessed with time travel who are trying summon historical figures of legend from the past to save them from their losing war. Needless to say it all goes wrong and this story comes with lashings of hubris, a heavy serving of irony, and some very very sad Nazis.
