The Kobold evolves the ancestry mechanics from Draw Steel. In the core rules, the ancestral options you pick during character creation remain static during your adventuring career. At level 1, your dwarf is the most dwarf they'll ever be. Kobolds are dynamic, earning boons from the great wyrms to unlock new draconic features!
A favor for the Wyrm Beneath magnetizes your scales to yank foes into your grasp. Please the Wyrm Heraldic to sprout wings and soar the skies like your ancestors. At the end of this long path lies the ultimate boon: full metamorphosis into the form of a mighty dragon!

But right now it stands at 5,300 words across 24 pages, in a mobile-friendly, single column, 8.5x5.5 format. It's been extensively tested, including in an ongoing campaign.

Draw Steel is a new heroic fantasy tabletop role-playing game. It was built from the ground up to deliver tactical, cinematic experiences, and it's some of the most fun I've ever had at the table. (I fell in love during an early test when my telekinetic hero dragged a goblin through a stone floor, crushing a second goblin on the level below.)
