Project Update: Grumpy Old Crone Review | The Oracle Decks Spotlight! | Trivia Q 9

First off, the Grumpy Old Crone just put out her honest review of the dice, and to my very happy surprise, it's a glowing review. She gives us a 9/10, because "I don't even know what a 10/10 would look like." She also is honest about her approach to the dice, how it felt overwhelming, and how she got through that barrier to realize how open and intuitive the set is to read.

If you've been on the fence about backing (project followers out there), give her video a look and then consider joining us here!

The Oracle Cards Spotlight

So there are cards in this project that we simply haven't talked about yet. Yes, there's the cheat sheet cards that come with your dice sets which you can use to learn the dice, but with your sets you also get the Lords as cards.  That's a few of them in the top left there above. They make great oracle cards to slip into another deck, or wonderful for laying on the grid if you so desire. You could also lay out a reading with the Lords and then cast dice over them, without the cloth entirely.

But there's more cards here than that.

Because for $25, you can grab the dice faces of each set as an oracle deck of 138 cards! This has been a requested thing since the first edition, and I've always been happy to offer them on the side. Some read the deck as-is as an oracle, some mix cards from them into their Alleyman's Tarot or magpie decks, and others will use them as flash cards to learn the symbols of the dice. They also have the same card back so you can mix the decks, or bring their Lord cards in.

Ezra also does a fantastic job picking the colors and background work for each dice set's card backings, playing on the Lord's colorations. These will be in a limited run, so get them now while you can!
