What you see in these photos is the very last batch of rewards, all packed and labeled! The big box is sealed and ready to leave with the courier on Monday, August 31 📦💨
In our last update, we estimated that we would finish comfortably before the end of September. Somehow, we managed to beat our own estimate by an entire month and finish before the end of August instead!!
Apparently we really aren’t very good at estimating timelines in either direction ʕ≧▽≦;ʔゞ But for once, we’re extremely happy to have been wrong!
Every single package belonging to a backer who completed their payment and/or survey has now been prepared. There is nothing left waiting in our fulfillment queue for this campaign: once this final batch leaves on Monday, every remaining completed order will officially be on its way!
After all the delays, problems, stress, silence and patient waiting, it feels almost unreal to write this… but this campaign is finally closed. FINALLY!! 🥹❤️

We want to start by saying that we’re really sorry, both for how long this has taken and for being so quiet lately.
Life got in the way, then more and more problems piled up behind the scenes, and keeping up with everything became much harder than we expected. We never stopped working, but we didn’t do a good job of letting you know that. We know the silence made an already frustrating wait feel even worse, especially because this one was supposed to be such a quick campaign.

In the meantime, we have continued packing and shipping orders, even if at a slower pace than we would have liked. As a two-person team, we’ve also been alternating fulfillment between this Holiday Market campaign and another long-pending campaign of ours, so that both can continue moving forward rather than leaving either one completely at a standstill.
Right now, at the pace we’re working, we expect to have all remaining Holiday Market packages shipped before the end of September, with some room to spare. This is our current realistic estimate based on the progress we’re making now.

We also want you to know that if we go quiet for too long, you can absolutely ask us for an update. A gentle nudge honestly helps us as a reminder when we’re struggling to keep up. Communication and time management don’t come naturally to us, especially when we’re overwhelmed (they’re often among the first things we unintentionally fall behind on)😰 We know it’s still our responsibility to do better, but kind reminders can genuinely help. We only ask that they remain polite and understanding, as they have been so far. ❤️

Hi everyone, We finally have a really good update to share for this campaign.
After months of work and many failed attempts, we were able to successfully restore the BackerKit / Shopify connection on our side, thanks also in large part to the help and guidance of the BackerKit team ❤️
Because of that, the first batch of pledges we were already packing has now also been labeled successfully through the restored connection, and we no longer had to create those labels manually one by one as we were thinking 🥹🎉
The restored connection made this step much faster and smoother for us than the manual fallback route would have been, and we are incredibly relieved.
This first batch of parcels is now ready, and it will be dispatched tomorrow!

Hi everyone, We just wanted to share a new fulfillment progress update for this campaign.
The packing of the first selected segment of backers is currently underway, and tomorrow we will begin manually creating/shipping labels one by one for the parcels prepared in this first group.
Once that manual labeling step is completed, these parcels will begin moving into dispatch.
This is still a slower and more manual process than we ever wanted for this campaign, but at least we’re very relieved to finally be moving forward in a concrete way 💝
