Compatible with D&D 5E
Compatible with Pathfinder 2E
We publish two in-depth guides to random wilderness encounters: The Book of Chance Meetings (compatible with Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition) and Book of Hidden Paths (compatible with Pathfinder 2nd Edition). Both contain 10 chapters, each covering a particular biome with its own mix of possible encounters with monsters, wild animals and humans and humanoids going about their business (for good or for ill). Terrain hazards are also included as things your party may stumble into by chance. All creatures are taken from open-license material for that rules system.
We have found that these books are great resources if you want to introduce a bit of unpredictability into your campaign, as well as running hex crawl campaigns and generating ideas for pre-planned encounters.
Both books are available in print and PDF at a 20% discount to our normal price through the Holiday Market only.
If you're tired of treating critical hits and critical failures as flavorless afterthoughts, use Severed Heads and Broken Blades to make combat more interesting. Use it as selectively or comprehensively as you like; when a critical hit or fumble is called for, roll on the appropriate table and go from there. Our graduated results system makes spectacular results like lopping off a limb or striking an ally by accident possible but rare, so as not to skew the basic probabilities of combat resolution too badly.
Compatible with Dungeons & Dragons 5E and both editions of Pathfinder. We have not tested it for compatibility with other RPG systems, but it's likely that you can fit it into just about any system that uses a d20 for combat resolution.
Available in print and PDF at a 20% discount to our normal price through the Holiday Market only.
Places by the Way/Found by the Way location modules
Ramen Sandwich Press was founded in 2016 to publish Places by the Way, a series of location modules compatible with Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition written by veteran RPG author Douglas Sun. Each module describes a location — typically a village — with its own particular set of side quests and colorful NPCs that you can drop into your campaign for a change of pace. Since then, we have found that our fans have run them perfectly well as standalone mini-adventures, or even picked them apart for ideas that they can incorporate into their own campaigns. With the addition of our latest module, Lair of the Storm Giant, Places by the Way now numbers 14 modules in all.
All of our location modules are printed in a compact 5x8" format, perfect for your back pocket and more durable in the spine than if we used the conventional 8.5x11" format.
In 2018 we added Found by the Way, a parallel series that allows Pathfinder GMs to use those same locations without having to convert the mechanics themselves. They are compatible with both editions of Pathfinder.
For the Holiday Market event, we are offering complete sets of Places by the Way and Found by the Way in both print and PDF, at 25% off the regular price of buying them individually.

We're pleased to offer our line of Gamer Philosophy short-sleeve t-shirts through the Holiday Market at a slight discount to our normal price (Holiday Market price includes ground shipping within the US). They include the timeless gaming-adjacent wisdom of George Bernard Shaw, William Shakespeare and Julius Caesar, as well as a helpful warning against stepping on a 4-sided die.

Ramen Sandwich has been designing and selling nerdy-hip apparel for even longer than we have been publishing roleplaying game books. We created a line of back-and-front printed t-shirts for fans of Japanese history and the Shogun: Total War digital games and we're pleased to offer them through the Holiday Market at a slight discount to our normal price (Holiday Market price includes ground shipping within the US). Each design honors a different prominent samurai clan from the Sengoku Jidai period and features the clan badge, or mon, on the left breast and a drawing of the banner — the distinctive sashimono — that soldiers affixed to the back of their armor to show the lord whom they served. Choose from among the seven clans featured as playable factions in Shogun: Total War II: Oda, Takeda, Usesugi, Hojo, Shimazu, Mori and Imagawa.
See our website for more information on our Samurai Clans Banzai! apparel. All shirts are printed on demand by Printful. We will place your order with them upon receipt of your payment and they should ship within a week.
We will begin processing your order as soon as we receive confirmation of your payment.

Over the last several years, they have not slowed down at all during the holiday rush, so we don't expect that you will have make allowances for the time of year. Shipping
Basic ground shipping within the United States is included in the purchase price of all physical items. If we're shipping your order ourselves, this probably means either USPS Media Mail or Ground Advantage. If we need our book printer to ship directly to you, it's probably going by UPS. Our t-shirt printer uses DHL with last-mile delivery handled by USPS.
There will be a surcharge to cover the cost of international shipping and of course, it will depend on weight (i.e., what you order and how much of it) and destination. For instance, we know offhand that it will cost US$20 to ship a copy of The Book of Chance Meetings and Book of Hidden Paths to Canada by UPS Standard, which will take about a week for delivery. We can absorb some of the cost of shipping t-shirts, so we'll pass along to you only US$4 for the first item and US$2 for each additional item. If you provide us with more exact data, we can give you a more reliable estimate of shipping cost.
Of course, there is no shipping charge for PDF items.
