We're seeing some questions about shipping. And hey - we understand. It can be a bit of mathing to figure out the most cost efficient way to pledge. 

Reminder - we've created a simple pledge calculator to help with this. 

To summarize...
The First Timer and New Hotness pledge tiers do offer a bit of extra discount. You get a few dollars off the already reduced BackerKit prices AND you get a nice deal on shipping. If you do not add anything else to the pledges, you only pay the base shipping fee. It's a special pricing deal for the pledge tier. These are not "bundles" and you cannot double up on them etc. If you want more items beyond what's in the pledge tier, you will need to add them on per the regular check out and you'll incur the incremental shipping for those items.

So for a Continental US backer - here's what it would look like if you pledged for individual items vs using the First Timer reward tier.
