I just received the pins, everything arrived safely! I'm planning on starting fulfillment next week. Since there's over 500 of you, it may take a week or two to prepare and package everything. I'm really excited to finally get these birdies out to you. 

Notice: This week I'm counting and grading your pins. I wanted to give a heads up that I'm vending at a convention this weekend, and I will be taking some overstock of Birds of Rotterdam with me to sell. I really don't like doing this, as it is my priority to get your pins out to you as soon as possible. However, due to the scale of the campaign, I won't be able to do so this time, and taking some overstock with me does directly help me pay for my rent and upcoming office move. There will be no risk of overselling - all the pins intended for the campaign plus an error margin will be counted out and left at my office. 
If you're really bothered by this decision, let me know and I will do my best to have your rewards out before I go to the con. Thank you for understanding <3

One of the color concerns I had on the factory photos was the Eurasian Jay. Here's what he looks like in daylight:

The face did turn out a little more yellow than intended, but I'm not extremely bothered by it. I won't opt for a remake at this time. If you selected the Eurasian jay but you don't like the final pin, please contact me for a solution.

If your order contains socks and/or a hair claw, we are still waiting on those to arrive, so your order will have to wait a little bit longer to ship.

If you backed our partner project Frogtastic Frogs, and you want combined shipping, make sure your Frogtastic Frogs survey is set to "Local Pickup". I will email you this week to double check if I have everything on file correctly.
Since Frogtastic Frogs are still in production, combined shipping orders will be on hold until these are done.

There are still 6 of you with a completely failed pledge. If you still want to receive your rewards at campaign price, please resolve your payment and fill in your survey by the end of the week.

There are 24 errored cards for shipping costs and add-ons. Please resolve this by the end of the week, otherwise I can't ship your rewards! If you need add-ons removed from your pledge to make it work, let me know.

I just got word from my manufacturer. The pins are done and are ready to ship! With everything being wrapped up, I'm going to lock your orders and charge cards soon. Your order will lock and your card will be charged for add-ons and shipping costs on the 24th of April. Please double check your survey and adjust it if necessary. :)

Hi everyone!

Just a quick update to tell you that all items are ordered and are either in production or will be starting production soon! I've been hard at work prepping manufacturing files for the pins, keychains, stickers, and hair claws.. And it's finally all done and sent off!

This will be the last update for a little while, since I usually don't get factory updates until near the end of production. If you like to keep in touch in the meantime, feel free to join our Discord server. :)

To recap some information:
- Order lock date/credit card charge date has not yet been set. I will likely lock & charge cards when I have the items in hand and I'm preparing to ship. So, more info on that later!
- You do not need to do anything on this survey to get combined shipping with Frogtastic Frogs. There will be an option to specify you want combined shipping on the Frogtastic Frogs survey. Because there's still some confusion, we'll also go through survey comments & email cross-collaboration backers to double-check that everything went right before we lock orders.

I sent out the surveys yesterday, and while it's mostly smooth sailing, there are a few addendums I need to make. Please read!

If you need help with your survey, please email me through BackerKit support ("Contact us for help" button on your pledge page), or through the contact form on my website. I can help you faster if you email me directly.  Unfortunately BackerKit only sends me one email a day for comments on updates, so I thought everything was a breeze until I got the daily comment summary email, hahah.

If you are a cross-collab backer and want to combine shipping with Frogtastic Frogs, there will be instructions for this on the Frogtastic Frogs survey. You do not need to do anything on your Birds of Rotterdam survey. If you opt in for combined shipping, your shipping fees will be waived on Frogtastic Frogs. Appeltjesgroen will share the list of combined shipping backers with me, and we will make sure your rewards for both projects are packed and shipped together. My apologies for being unclear!

If you are an Early Bird or Returning Backer, I meant to make it possible for you to select the sticker you'd like to receive. I thought BackerKit had fixed this for me but it looks like something went wrong. My apologies!
I made a new add-on where you can select your sticker. Please open your survey, go to the add-on page, and scroll all the way down. You should see the following listing:

Please use this item to select your sticker designs. Backers who don't select a design will receive a random design. Note: Qualifying backers have the "Early Bird Backer - Free Sticker" and/or "Returning Backer - Free Sticker" item in their carts. It doesn't seem like I am able to hide the add-on for non-qualifying backers, so if that is you, please just ignore the listing. :)
