No! All magazines are printed perfect bound, on high quality paper stock with no ads or sponsored placements in them. Every page is put together by our team independently. We know that most American magazines are staple bound/saddle stitched on thin paper and often have more ads than content... Grim Omen and Cozy Companion are nothing like those!

All magazines will be shipped in May 2026 - that's just two months from now! For backers at the Collector (Print) tier, the print versions of Cozy Compendia I and II will arrive in May. The print versions of Cozy Compendia III and IV will arrive by the end of 2026.

Every month we will email you a code for a digital game that you can redeem on Steam. The game is yours to own, play, and keep forever. We partner with indie game studios to purchase codes directly from them, supporting indie studios both financially and helping them to reach more people.

We select games each month based on a variety of factors. In the past, all of the games that we have selected have (1) had an MSRP of $15 or higher, (2) have had Mostly Positive or higher ratings on Steam, and (3) have had fewer than 10,000 reviews on Steam. For Grim Omen, you can expect to receive games that fall into the genres of Dark Fantasy, Dark Sci-Fi, and Horror. Some games may have age restrictions to redeem on Steam. BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
