I was looking at expansion for Munchkin, and that made me start wondering what the intended way forward for Munchkin is, as 1:st and 2:nd edition have incompatible back sides. I have both limited storage space and limited funds, and don't want to "paint myself into a corner" by making the wrong decision. What do SJG plan to do with each edition? 1:st edition: a) Continue printing 1:st edition, as well as releasing all future expansions with compatible card backs? b) Continue printing existing 1:st edition stuff, but no future expansions? c) Abandon 1:st edition - once current stock is depleted, it won't be available? 2:nd edition: d) All 1:st edition expansions will be reprinted for 2:nd edition? e) A selection of expansions will be reprinted for 2:nd edition, but not everything? f) None of the old expansions will be reprinted, only new expansions will be made for 2:nd edition? g) We f-ed up by making new card backs, and the current 2:nd edition will not be receiving any expansions? The response will decide if this will be the "year of Munckin" for me, or if this campaign marks the "END of Munckin" instead.
